    ohhh......i WANT one!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DMC-WOODEN-STORAGE-BOX-THREADS-NEW-/350453345558?pt=UK_Crafts_CrossStitch_RL&hash=item5198a5ad16

    %21B-yr%21ugBGk%7E$%28KGrHqYOKiYEy-S2rMsiBM9sQHI-og%7E%7E_35.JPG

does anyone know the best value place for:
    a) plastic bobbins?
    b) plastic storage boxes for bobbins?
    c) b with a as part of the package?

have scoured e-bay but best boxes i can see have cardboard bobbins (or doesn't specify) and am not keen on these ones.

    thanks.

I have that box, DH bought it for my Christmas pressie :D It looks far nicer in real life too :)

    Plastic bobbins: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/100-DMC-plastic-bobbins-cross-stitch-/280702492134?pt=UK_Crafts_CrossStitch_RL&hash=item415b2c1de6#ht_500wt_1156
I think these are a bargain but you've got 12hrs to go

I don't know about the boxes, I was feeling flush and bought mine from Hobbycraft :rotfl:

Might see if Fr Christmas fancies bringing me an early present - in my dreams!!

Oh I would love one of those! Wonder if they sell it empty, I don't need all those threads.

Chicky - I got all my storage boxes and plastic bobbins from sewandso

Not much going on here, my dad didn't get his results today, he got a letter saying he is to go for a CT scan on wed then to an appointment on Fri to discuss the results, so we need to wait a little longer :(

Louise - thinking about you and your family. I think the worst part is waiting, at least once you know what your dad is up against you can do something positive.

Mine's the heart picture and I don't like it, the box has been sat there since March, unstitched. I don't suppose you or anybody else has a ;) of the sewing things chart?

Or does anybody have any ideas of a picture that shape that I could do instead? I've been looking in all my magazines but all the charts are either too big or square

Nykied. I have an email of the chart 'I stitch therefore I stash' if that's any good for your box lid? You can see it here that someone has stitched (scroll down past the rose card) http://awikkidwomanswords.wordpress.com/2010/07/

On the info it says that you need a frame with a minimum aperture of 8 and a quarter inches X 10 and a half inches, no idea if that's anywhere near the size of your box lid.

No worries if you don't want it but if you do want it, you know what to do ;)
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
