lol @ moosmummy..... number 3 - noooo thankyou! tho if i can't sell this baby stuff I may have to just to get the usage out of it!! :D

ohh i hope not *louise*....tho i think the anisthetic is wearing off and just flipping realised its in the exact spot tinywiggle leans on for his bottle. ohh and why did no one tell me i was gonna get a huge !!!!!!!g badage over it all weekend....sooo summery attractive!!
tho am praying i get the nice bits about having it and not the nasties.

ohhh and have just finished crying (tho will prob start again tonight)
the dr wouldn't even discuss noahs colic - even when i said i was at my wits end and couldn't take much more screaming and tried evreything.... and told me to make a drs appt for him for next week (i cannot take another day let alone week with constant screaming for most of the day).

went to pharmacy to by colief (as you can buy over counter its just £12!!). tried both the cheaper brands and they don't work. 'helpful' girl on till asked pharmacist if she could do it on a free prescription (as they are licensed to do it for some medicines). pharmacist said yes...then refused as noah hadn't had it before.
told me to see the dr as it could be reflux...told her it wasn't as babywiggle had that and this is different.
in the end stormed out and went to a diffferet pharmacy to buy it....a whole penny cheaper no questions asked.

sorry for ranting.....sooooooo crosss.....got naff all done today i wanted to as someones been clingy and screamy since lunchtime.

    Hi ladies.

I seemed to get alot of stitching done today till I had to pack it away and come upstairs on pc. Keep hearing noises coming from the chimney so I have shut the door and left whatever it is to it :rotfl:
I don't think anything can get out of the fireplace and into the lounge because we blocked up the hole when we moved in (it's a real open fireplace) but I couldn't concentrate and made a couple of small mistakes so packed it away.
No doubt that this evening when hubby is here the noises (and whatever is making them) will suddenly disappear!
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Chicky - do you have a NHS walk-in centre? When I had raging earache that made me want to gouge them out, my drs wouldn't/couldn't give me an appointment for 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I went to the NHS place that same evening, I waited for 3 hours and I left with my prescription in my hand... It's worth a Google I'd say xxx

If you don't have one of those, try A&E, they'll do it for you as long as you're prepared to wait.

Having a few days up in Edinburgh shortly and was wondering if anyone knows of any good cross-stitchy types of places I should look out for - a girl is entitled to a treat now and again :D If anyone can point me in the right direction well ...............:D

I'm about 7 miles outside Edinburgh and I'm ashamed to admit I don't know of any stitchy places in town :o Hence the reason I buy all of mine online.

Aw, poor baby :( Would your health visitor see you any quicker than the doctor? I can't suggest any advice either, none of mine have ever had it. :(

Thanks Louise - will just have to trail OH round all little side streets on the off chance of a lucky find. We only have a very poor choice of things locally - a lot of things you ladies have mentioned I didn't know existed and had to look them up online :D Will let you know if I have any lucky finds :)

Aw chickwiggle - feel sorry for you with your little one. Do you have an out of hours service in your area? You would possibly get a different doctor who would be a bit more understanding than your own. If this is no good for you as TMIF said A&E could be an option for you although you could have a long long wait and I would imagine Friday nights will be rather hectic. Hope things get sorted for you soon.

How clever are you Ruth_honey - love your watch :)

    Take care over weekend everyone.

Oh Chickywiggle, thinking of you and tinywiggle, there's nothing worse, I would go to a walk-in centre if he doesn't settle, otherwise it's going to be a long weekend.

I love your watch, where did you get it from? I had a search and found these on Amazon pricy though:eek:

thanks everyone....i begrudgingly paid for some as you can buy it without prescription (£12 ouch!!) and hope it works. was just sooo mad dr would't do it - tinywiggles registered with them so its ot like it had to be off the books....and time wasn't an issue as my appt was a double length one - i went in on time nd only took 10 mins!!

the walk in centre was my best friend when i was pg and was where my lovrly midwife was based - it does have the longggg wait times tho (3 hours when i went to beg them to sign me off work).

health visitor is fab but can't write prescriptions you need to see a dr. (**rolls eyes**).

am gonna see how he goes over the weekend ad if it works (or not) ring surgery on monday and demand to be seen.
