Thanks for that Ruth_Honey, I had forgotton about the Dream Cream, I think I see Lush as a grown-ups brand (i.e. too good for the kids :p) so I hadn't thought to try it on Izzy. The only problem is I've now got £40 worth of goodies in the basket on the Lush site :rotfl:

Nice to "see" you and I hope you've got the stitchy bug back :) xxx

It wouldn't be Joan Elliots book would it? I know she has one out at the moment, she does a lot of fairies - I haven't seen it myself yet though.

Louise I've just looked it up and it is the Joan Elliot one. It looks really good but a) I'm not sure what I would actually stitch and b) I'm trying really hard not to spend at the moment so I looked at it and put it back.

My local Hobbycraft have a couple of the Margaret Shelly books. They also have another book for £9.99 which for the life of me I can't remember who it is by. I looked at it and thought I would remember but can't. It had several fairies in it and a green man - don't knowif that will ring bells with anyone.
Anyway if any one wants me to pick a copy up for them let me know and I can get one and post it on (would probably need to pass cost of postage on though - sorry). .

Alisb - that would be amazing if you could do that for me - if thats still ok could you pm me with how much you wanted and i'l paypal that across if that's ok?

Or if it's easier and Chickywiggle still has her margaret sherry book could i buy that and get the joan elliott on from you?

Have my heart set on both but can't justify what peeps want on fleabay

fingers crossed in anticipation (and for everyone that is waiting on results from doctors)....... Sending huggles xxxxx

ps haven't got a huge amount of stitching done but going to get a fair amount done on Saturday afternoon hopefully till its time to go pick up my boyfriend from his place - will try to post on monday again xx

ohh moosmummy that must be a nightmare - i had 8 months of constant itching when i was pg with noah it was unbearable. people did recomend dream cream but i just couldn't justify the price. piriton wore off half way thro night on me too. got aquasus and menthol off the dr was LOVELYYY and (i think without going up to look) thio made you feel like you had frostbite. in the last few months i got deramol 500 lotion on prescription which was the best.

catchooky - have just promised the margaret sherry one to trying hard....hope Ailsb can get you one.

argggg off to the dr this arvo for implanon to be fitted - am veryyyy scared ds1 and hubby will keep squashing my arm!!

ohh and still no stitching as i think tinywiggle has colic (last night screamed from 6pm-midnight!)...he is grizzly constantly all day if not being held (i don't do clingy babies!!!) and waking up at 3pm, 5pm, 6pm during the night still...... babywiggle was nver like this. am hoping i can bribe dr for colief while i'm there.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Thanks for that Chicky, she has Diprobase and Oilatum on script and while they help when her skin first breaks out they seem to lose effectiveness after a few days and the doc isn't willing to give her anything else
I've ordered the Dream Cream to try it because it's only rarely her skin is bad, I'm usually pretty good at keeping her away from tomatoes but I think the 1 g&t I had had slowed my reactions (I've only recently stopped breastfeeding so I'm a total lightweight :rotfl:)
Good Luck with the Implanon, I thought about getting it but decided to try for number 3 instead :D

Having a few days up in Edinburgh shortly and was wondering if anyone knows of any good cross-stitchy types of places I should look out for - a girl is entitled to a treat now and again :D If anyone can point me in the right direction well ...............:D

Thank you. Sorry about making you spend :o! I used to work in Lush & I know loads of customers raved about Dream Cream. Hope it works for her. If not, it'll be very soothing on sunburn (I can vouch for that! You'd think I'd learn, but I always get caught out at some point) What other treats did you get for yourself?

Louise-Keep meaning to tell you that I did some minature stitching for my wedding. It was on 40ct gauze to make a watch. Pic here...

I did it without a magnifier too! Not sure if I could now. In fact, I think I have another kit in my stash to stitch a watch for my mum. Might do that for her christmas pressie.

I'm sure there was something else I wanted to post about, but can't remember what it was now!

On the upside - I haen't had any of the other side effects that can occur
