Still catching up! Back is playing up today, so I'm a bit fidgety.
Charity suggestion-I am currently seeing a counseller from Mind, so I would be happy if the money/kits went to them. I think some kind of mental health charity is good, considering the stories we've all shared on here. It seems that many of us have/know someone who has benefitted from that kind of help, so it seems quite fitting to me.
Ailsb-Love the Home Sweet Home pic! Looks really good.
ejs2311-Pheobe is lovely. I'm sure she's very 'helpful' when you're stitching.
Dorastar-tell your parents I'm a whizz with a screwdriver if they want the flatpacks assembling! Glad they're home at last.
Chickywiggle-how annoying that the mag didn't give you a reminder before printing the first lot of info you sent. If there's a deadline, they should've said something to you!
Postingalwaysposting-That design is so striking. It's really lovely!
*Louise*-Nice coasters. I'm sure they'll be appreciated by the teachers.
That's me all caught up now! :j
I will try not to get so far behind again. Had a busy few weeks. Went to Gloucester to see my family, then Mum & I went to Devon for a few days to visit some friends of hers, and this week has flown by! Yesterday was my birthday, so we went to see Derren Brown & have some food (and strawberry beer-Yum!).
Have a lovely cross stitch that mum stitched for me. Will post a pic once I've framed it (she left it unframed as she couldn't chose which frame to go for-I'm SO her daughter! Remember me at Christmas with her Spool Tree??? :rotfl:)
Anyway, have some birthday cake :bdaycake: and a cuppa with me...:DCross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Ruthhoney - thanks for the cake, it's just what I needed. :rotfl:
Happy belated birthday. Glad you had a nice time.
No stitching for me at the moment. I'm trying to make a bag for my notebook. Have finished the flap and was sewing the flap to the main bag when my sewing machine decided to throw a wobbly. I've had to put everything to one side to stop me throwing it.
Sorry this is the wrong forum for this - off to the Sewing room now for a bit of a rant. :mad:Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j
