PAP - I think I'd bodge if I could get away with it, but I would need to see if lt looked right withthe missing stitches particulary on the butterfly. I made a mistake on my current piece and tried to unpick a bit and managed to unpick an area about 2 inches by 5 inches. Every stitch I re-stitched was a massive effort. I got back to were I was and haven't touched it for a week now.

Note to self - must do some of my cross stitch. :D

Chicky really sorry to hear that the mag didn't wait for your email. You deserve for one of the other magazines to run with the details as well.

They have asked for no wedding presents as they went away to get married but I was thinking I could do it as a christmas gift because they are really difficult to buy for and I really like the design does this seem ok or is it a bit wrong to give a wedding sampler at christmas?

I think that sounds fine. My cousin asked for honeymoon money not presents... But it didn't stop me stitching them the sampler. There were also about a half dozen other gifts on the table, so it didnt stop others too. If u want to wait till Xmas to give it to them then I'd say there would be even less of a problem.

Hi everyone, apologies for not checking in since March

Had to take time out as so much going on at home, redundancies at work (yet again), feeling unwell etc etc and then got worried I wouldn't finish my x-stitch in time!

Still been stitching and managed to finish the four projects i had on the go by last weeks deadline...I have pics to post of the framed horses and ballerina but I cant post pics of the baby samplers yet as the bambino's are yet to appear, so no dates of birth on the samplers yet and neither are framed....

But I have started this as my treat....will try to remember to post updates as I go along........

I have been popping in for a nosy every now and then so have kept up to date with most things but have missed the last 10-15 pages so will sit down and read these later with a glass of wine or two :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello everyone!
Been away from here for ages, so a much needed catch up is called for. Might have to break it up a bit or this will be a long, rambling post. :)

Firstly, Bikerchick, your wedding pics are lovely. Thank you for sharing. You look gorgeous! That dress is such a pretty colour on you.

Chickywiggle-That letter to Cross Stitch Crazy is great and I think if we did get the prize, auctioning it for chairty is a fab idea. :T
Edited to add...oooh, we've been chosen! Wow!
Sorry to the delay in replying-hope I'm not too late to find the stash pic. Will hunt now...

Flat Eric-I was planning on buying that Margeret Sherry chart book, but not now that I know it's £9.99! Ow! Although it does sound like there are some great charts in it... WAIT! I've just remembered I've got a WHSmiths voucher for £5 off when spending £15 or more. It's an email voucher, so if anyone wants it, PM me your address & I'll forward it to you. Valid until Sunday 19th June.

    23rdSpiral-Nice tattoo! :)

Ok, I've only got a few more pages of posts to catch up on now, but I need a quick break from the PC. Back soon...
