hi everyone, just a quick pop in to say THANKS again for the sampler framing advice... i didnt like the look of the BnQ stuff so waited and did it at 11.00 - 11.30 when OH came in but before FamilyGuy! woo! i am so Very proud of myself. i took it to the wedding and told the mother, sister and uncle it was from me and they all said such nice things even though it was still wrapped. (not for the praise - i'd forgotten to put my name on the back of the frame, only the mount. doh!). oh, and my mum loved it. that's a first! i'll post a pic when i can. xx

    chicky - oh dear.

    hello JCS 1 !

does anyone have/links to a nice 90th birthday card for a very nice lady.. flowers or birds... but not too long to complete, and that's in 'my time' not louise's! i know i've one somewhere with yellow flowers around the words 'happy 90th birthday' in a chart book from a mag from a charity shop but just cant find it after my move. i've found a blue tit that would be nice if not.

I am doing a bit of a sort out of stitching stuff as I can't really stitch any more :cry::cry: I don't know if people on here like doing fantasy stuff but I have http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-perl/itemdetail.pl?item=la3698 which I know I will never stitch (it is getting to the stage where I am actually sending something to Ghoststitchers so that it gets done!!:eek::eek:)

  • Chicky, I hope your blood pressure has returned to normal?

    JCS1 that's really pretty.

*Louise* loving the HAED design. How quick do you stitch?.

NMM, your current project is fantastic. How do you cope with stitching on black aida?

The robins are coming along nicely, I've started to do some of the blackstitch and hmm it's making the robins resemble one of those 'Back Death/Plague' men!

Chicky - sorry, my books are all of the romantic fictions - Erica James, Jill Mansell type. I've got my newer books on the Kindle so having a bit of a clear out on the bookshelves.

...I'm having a non stitchy whinge now - has anyone been on Ebay this evening? I went on this morning and it was all nice and usual then I go on tonight and they've totally changed My Ebay so you can't find anything. Bring back the old format!!!

Done quite a bit on FIL card today and got a refund for the kits that had no charts. I'm sure I remember someone mentioning it before but does anyone have any Cross Stitch Magics still?

just about...i eventually got to shout at someone at 5.30 and have to fax them a copy of my passport and a utility bill and they should sort it in 72 hours.

plus DS1 is in bed and DS2 is drugged on gripe water....and glee is on in a minute .... and jobs are done so i can stitch.
