Hi everyone,

Can't believe that after years of being on MSE, only just found this thread! Have been cross stitching since I was 14, and have the required cupboard full of kits, threads and fabrics

Just finished a Winnie The Pooh Birth sampler (Friend at work, not due until October), currently working on a baby girl sampler for a baby born a few weeks ago, and then got a wedding sampler ready to start for September!

Does anyone know of a wedding RSVP card kit? I've tried searching on-line but can't find one - will have to go back to the Jo Verso books and graphtpaper otherwise.

Anyway, quick ten minute tidy up, and then stitching whilst watching the Baftas

That tiger looks amazing! How are you coping with the black fabric? I once did a stained glass picture on navy, and vowed never again!

Its going very slowly, lol even worse is stitching black on black. That is also only half of it i got Page B to do yet :rotfl: here is the finished picture.

Really annoyed this morning. Brought 3 cross stitch kits off ebay which specifically said WITH PATTERNS and guess what!? They're all cover kits off Cross Stitch Magic with no patterns. Have contacted seller and keeping my fingers crossed. Argh

Well I've had a busy ebay weekend (buying and selling) until last night when they restricted ALL access to my account due to a 3rd party attempting to use it (cannot list or buy) and apparenty the only way of lifting this is to ring an 0800 number (however landline is faulty so would need to use mobile)... which when i tried earlier had a 63 minute wait time to speak to an advisor. They will not re-imburse me the cost of the call.... can anyone see HOW THIS IS MY FAULT????!!!!

Have sent them a VERYY stroppy email but looks like I will be deleting my account when my current listings finish in next couple of days and having to start again (grr over 200 feedback). Its sooo anoying as I wanted to use the funds I'd made this last couple of months (nearly £100) on some new (well to me) books - have already spent half of it on the boys and hubby and now i can't (they are BIN's the ones I want so fingers crossed will still be available when i can get em.

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

needless to say no stitching from me but I am planning on rectifing that tonight... DS1 WILL be in bed by 6 (3.30 if he keeps on the way he has today).

chicky - any specific books - I have loads that I'm going to take to the charity shop. PM me a list and I'll see if I have any. The ebay situation sounds like a nightmare. You work so hard to build up your feedback then some numpty loses all your hard work for you

there were a few discworld ones (thanks to the help of people on here/ freegle and a few car boots I now only need 5 to complete the set - WOOOP.

Plus I decided it was time to read the twilight series so bought the first one (woopsied down to £2 in WHSmith) and the last one (woopsied to £3 - in hardback) so I need New Moon and Eclipse.
