Beautiful work and that cat really is cute :T I found out yesterday that I will be moving next Friday  very exciting. Better pack my stitching stuff so that I can then easily find it in the new place :rotfl:

Mystery solved! You're welcome Spiral - hope the metallics don't drive you too crazy!

Love that rose design Kez, those squares will look fabulous when they are all put together.

I'm still on my current WIP the Love Birds cushion (by Durene Jones I think) from WOCX a few issues ago. I'm still waiting for my threads and fabric to arrive from Across Town - I'm itching to start my new big project.....I'm not very patient!

Must admit in the past I have tried the way Louise advised but I couldn't get on with it, felt strange using my left hand. My right hand does the actual stitching with my left hand being at the back of the fabric to guide the needle.

I think that might be the way forward. I will keep practicing but it is taking a bit longer than usual trying to use both hands. But one of the reasons to get the lap stand was to take the ease off my shoulder (injury at work about 18 months ago). We shall just have to see how we get on.

Kez - The rose is beautiful, really antique looking. X

eek! good luck with the move! i'm in a total panick and am hiding on here as i think we're moving TOMOROW! the carpet fitter could come earlier, so today, so we can move. it's a good thing i know but scary. i'm just afraid of the amount of random stuff i'll be leaving behind to sort out at the weekend (still own 'old' house and tennant pulled out so have more time, not necessasarily a good thing). so i should be packing but all i want to do is that new house keyring!:(

    congratulations sammr! :T :j :T

bah, i caught up anyway. oh well. my bad. - love the anniversary card (i second the idea to cut out a bit from the backing so it doenst warp). the collie is adorable , pooh came together great, and the little bird is very cute indeed. i'm sure there were more things to comment on but i really do have to go do something!

Both Andi Peters & Philip Schofield worked in the broom cupboard.

which one had the waiter 'assistant'? there was a competition to draw the waiter, as we never saw more than an arm. i did a picture but when colouring it in i went out of the lines, so turned his trousers into a skirt and made him a woman waiter... and the drawing was shown on telly! :j

    thanks for the memories!
