Massive hugs to you Biker! My MIL had breast cancer a couple of years ago and needed a masectomy and chemo and although she used to stitch she doesn't any more (mad woman!). She did say though that she wished she had something to do other than read whilst the chemo was taking place and could have done had she wished!
On a brighter note...Wow only 2 weeks until you get married to who sounds like a fantastic man!

I love the positive attitude you have and am sure this is going to help you loads over the next few months

My friend is going through chemo at the moment and he is able to do things while having the treatment(not stitching, but maybe it hasn't occurred to him). Maybe take a magazine along too, so you can read that if you don't feel like stitching.
At least it doesn't start until after your wedding. You must have enough to think about what with all that going on. How are the wedding plans going? It's our wedding anniversary in a few weeks. It'll be 9 years on the 25th! Have you sorted out your something old, something new, etc etc?
Anytime you need us, we'll be here...that's what friends are for.

Bikerchick, I am so sorry to hear that, especially with you on the run up to the happiest day of your lives.

You sound like a tough 'un though, and I can't imagine you letting that get the better of you - sending you loads of hugs and get well wishes
