i've been trying to come up with an idea for a mothers day card for a few days now and it's just not happening so i thought i might stitch something.

does anyone have anything I could use on a mothers day card? It would have to be something simple as i have 2 to do in just over a week thanks to my indecisiveness! :(

Just home from a&e. DH sliced a chunk of his finger off when he was peeling potatoes and it wouldn't stop bleeding. Can't believe he got through a motorbike accident without a bruise, but making dinner involves a trip to the hospital! And all within the week...

Was supposed to be going to the Ideal Home show tomorrow but daren't leave the house now! :) Actually will be far too tired & grumpy to deal with people. Duvet day watching films instead, I think.

Oh Ruth Honey it's not going well at yours this week. Hope things start looking up soon. A duvet day sounds good.

Anyone heard from *Louise*??? I know she was trying to finish the highland scene, but it's weird not hearing a peep from her. You Ok, Louise???

I was thinking the same thing. Had a quick scout about and see she last posted on the site on the 8th April with last activity being on the 10th.

I have her email addy, might drop her a note to see if she's ok.....or do you think that's too weird? :o

    or this:

    Any advice?

Psst don't tell her, she is in these forums but I don't think she comes to visit this Cafe.

  • That's a difficult choice - the bottom one is much more colourful, but the message on the top one is more appropriate...

And... shhhh, your secret is safe :) x
