Am pleased to say that I have started Mr Men & Little Miss Chart tonight. :D Not as much as I would've liked, but at least I did some. :o

Nudges have been sent, so if I've missed you, please let me know.

Thanks for the link, I've just bought the green chart, my 17 year old niece will love it (I hope to get it finished for Christmas !)

thinking of you Soulie. I think celebrate is an appropriate word, your brother wouldn't want you moping....i bet he's having a pint.

your sampler sounds a fab idea. I'm doing this wedding sampler - don't know if the border is any good with your words in, let me know if you want a ;)

Thank you very much, I'm not quite sure if that would work, I would have to change quite a bit of it, but it would certainly help as a starting point, I won't say 'yes I'll have a ;)' just yet, as I don't want you to waste your time 'sorting' it, and for me to then change my mind lol, so I have written it down, so I remember, otherwise I will forget!

Okay, time for my Corrie update, at last lol
This is what it looked like at the end of week 4.
I haven't done any since the end of week 4 which was on the 16th Feb lol but I have been so busy doing other things!

Rightio, I'm wide awake, and the candle that I lit for Steven, at the time he was born, is still going strong, and I don't want to blow it out! Soooo I am off to finish sorting out all the yanno free kits you get with magazines, as I have decided that, YES I want to stitch them all, but I don't really have anyone to gift them to, so apart from the disney ones, which I want to keep myself, I figure if I can stitch them up, and sell for a couple of quid, then I can help to raise some money for the campaign/charity :D

It feels real good doing something pro-active!

    :bdaycake:

For Steven, who LOVED his food soooooooooo much! I have heard lots of stories about him involving his food! haha

And a  to him also, though he wasn't a big drinker, he did enjoy his nights out, and his boys holidays. Love you bro!

Argh, I just realised, I am doing it again!
I frequent a few forums, and it seems like in every post I am talking about him, and I really hope I am not boring anyone when I mention him amongst my cross stitchy posts, so I apologise in advance, in time I will get better!

    Hi all
I have made a start on the Bieber sampler so thanks to those who helped me re the chart itself & the materials. I am number dyslexic I'm sure as no wonder 1 skein was not to be found, 2 digits were swapped around!

Bieber was really good on saturday, DD LOVED it.
I do a little as & when I can although I know already 1 stitch is in the wrong place but as it's hair I'm certain it wont look out of place. Wrong attitude I know but I already unpicked it once due to the very same thing so it's staying!

Managed some housework, scrapmen been & collected a bit of rubbish so time for a catch up on the net.

    Have a lovely day.

    Hello all

I started cross stitch about 20 years ago and have completed many projects since, samplers, cards, pictures etc.
Haven`t done much recently but have loads of UFO in my spare room.
Have recently bought a magazine with a free kit, a wedding sampler (wedding on Easter Monday) and a card kit for Mothers Day.

Here is the wedding sampler that I have to complete. I haven`t even taken it out of the pack yet. Must get a move on.

The bride is wearing ivory and the bridesmaids purple so I thought it would be appropriate.

I love making samplers for other people but sometimes wonder whether they are appreciated? What are your thoughts?

I`ve never been given one for a gift but would love it if someone took the time to make one for me.

Hope to get to know you all.

    Happy stitching.

Just been on to the Cross Stitch Guild and they have sorted everything for me so a BIG THUMBS UP to them ... it was a glitch in the system for my log-in that has them completely puzzled, so they deleted me and re-did me and now it works hurray!:j

I think it was wen-tom, as she did some stuff for me, and I said I would sort out any disney stuff that I had for her, which I still haven't gotten around to, sorry wen-tom!! It is still on my 'to do list', and I will get to it soon, I promise!
