    hmmm:mad:

i cant get hold of the clampetts on the phone.

At 5pm a lorry turned up. The guy banged on the door and asked for the clampetts as he couldnt get hold of them today. The lorry contains all their worldly goods which they collected from storage at 7am this morning and drove to wales. It appears that the Clampetts in the excitement of eniths passing forgot to inform the removal co that completion date had passed, so now they are unloading the who shebang on the driveway whilst we are no desperately trying to move all our stuff into the bedrooms.

Got to go and finish up, but not amused, how the f we will move out I dont know. I have a feeling we will have to sky plus Pobol y Cwm tonight.

Why is this happening to us and why are they not answering their phone or even have it switched on!!!

Did you give them permission to unload? Make them take it all bak if you didn't! our removal people will go nuts!
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

I am taking a breather. I havent humped that hard and fastidious since I once heard the mother in law approaching the bedroom door three years ago on that James Villa holiday

I have never seen such crud in my life. I would have binned the entire lot if i was moving, let along drag it up the M5 and along the M4. We have no room in the garage, shed or anywhere, we cant leave it out in the rain so it has to come in.

Looks to me like they packed in a hurry, maybe they have moved from Brisbane? I dont know.

The sofa is a wonder of bacterial culture and stains. I would say that Mr C got in the chair back in 1974 and never left, only to go to the toilet most of the time. As I am walking along hugging their sofa cushions, I can understand why Mr C took his lover in the camper van kitchenette, she would have left with cord burns on her backside for starters.

Their mattress has the typical urine stains on it. We have stuck that in the dining room and Mrs J has already given it a good going over with the fabreeze.

Their pillows, well, I think the pillowcases serves to protect the head from the bugs and cemented in ear way and drool rather than the other way round.

Oh we lifted a heavy box and the bottom dropped out of it which was ok except one book hit me square on the toe. I picked it up and it was an 1980s Rusty Lee cook book. I am sure that since Mr sat in the sofa back in the 1970's he hadnt been out to buy anything remotely in vogue.

Oh and the christmas tree. That wont see another year, either that or the angel will be looking for double entry next year at the top.

We found he has a bottle of Tawny so I have put that in our drinks cabinet.

And finally their kitchen bin - WHO PACKS IT STILL FULL OF RUBBISH - IT HONKS!

Anyway, Mrs J is highly annoyed. I just hope they dont want a holiday one day and call in cash in the attic as I dont think at auction it will fetch enough for Sun readers holiday.
