If you go back through the thread, you will find that several of us have our doubts, but frankly we don't care :rotfl:
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

"It was time to take the dog for a walk and have a ciggy. What a relief. Mrs J asked me where I was going and I said to the great gig in the sky and she gave me one of her quizzical looks but I think she knew what I meant."

Not long up. Blinder of an evening, those Devonian people really know how to party. So much so the Tawny is now drained. Mrs J found a bottle of Strawberry Wine we got from Callestick Cider Farm about 2 years ago and although off, it certainly hit a spot.
The blind scrabblers left at 11pm as the coach had to be back for the school run this morning. The bathroom was a bit of a state and they managed to walk urine acoross the Maple wood floor upstairs, but they arent to blame, afterall, they couldnt see the puddle they were standing (and causing). Mrs C was in the bedroom having a cry on the bed with Mrs J about losing her mum and thanked us for our help and that she couldnt wish for nicer vendors. However the touching moment was lost when Eric the blind scrabbler walked into the bedroom with his pen is in his hand ready for a wee. Glad the wardrobe has a lock is all I can say.
Tomorrow was supposed to be our moving day but we are here for another week as our vendor couldnt move tomorrow. The C's are wanting to take the camper out tomorrow for the day and night to give us some space and some time out so sadly they wont be around tomorrow.
We said goodbye to Billy-Bob this morning. He crashed on the sofa last night drunk as anything (imagine Brian Blessed in leather) but Mrs J couldnt help but snigger at him on the DFS sofa this morning in his white M&S pants complete with his morning glory blissfully unaware as he was snoring. She felt the need to come up to the bedroom and get me to come and have a look to which I reminded her that I am not into looking at other men's bits.
We have had a cooked breakfast now and Mrs J is just having a clean up. Today looks to be a quiet day and I fear this thread may now come to a natural end next week as we probably wont have anything to talk about any more. We have grown fond of the Clampetts.
Mr C went into worry mode about his driving licence thing and has not heard back from his job interview so Mrs C is going to start driving lessons. And no, we didnt offer!
P.S I am not sure about the Mint in winter thing. I refuse to pick it, but they claim it is mint. Maybe a shetered spot by the connifers has saved it thuis winter, I do not know.0 -

Could you get one of your current neighboors to keep us updated with the Clampets as they start to fill the front garden up with discarded fridges and sofas etc0 -
i doubt any neighbour could write in this wonderfully comic dead-pan way which has kept us all soooo amused for soo long....
