hi, look a family member is a barrister, i have to be honest you are likely to have this explode in problems, 1 st get intouch with legal cover free usually with home insurance.
2 tell estate agents exactly what is going on, and explain a suitable deadline say 5 pm tommorrow or it is back on the maret.
3. she has every right to claim against you, sad but true... i hate this litigation society but you are probably looking at a no win no fee.. bunch.
4. it is unlikely that you are going to exchange and so storeage costs should be clearly worked out and signed, dated, and witnessed.
id say give one to the clampets and fax one to their solicitor
if you store their items for 5 years or more they gain the right to your property.... keep in mind1. i'm bi polar.:rotfl:2. carer for two autistic sons.:A 3. have a wonderful but challenging teenage daughter. 4. have a husband that is insatiable. 5. trying to do an open degree.0 -

Would there be a legal issue of removing their property? I mean the mother is living there, even if she is currently in hospital.0 -

I clicked onto the last page of this as the heading intrigued me, immediately I thought these are the same people that wrote the brilliant dead dog thread.
Thank you Jones,' I've had to read all 23 pages, got nothing done this afternoon, but been very entertained. Well done, you are wasted, someone give this man a break in writing for TV. I would pay to see the dead dog thread come to life (so to speak!).0 -

Whilst talking to my vendor neighbour, I walked him out. Sat back down and the door went again, only to discover that the Brother Clampett has only dumped all the goods he brought with him on the grass verge and bu g gered off. I couldnt see from the house because of the connifers and now I have the contents of a 1970 hell hole on the grass.
Oh, except for the mobility scooter which is parked on my Geraniums.
I have contacted the solicitor who, put it this way told me to leave all items as they are.0 -

If you've been advised by your solicitor then do exactly that. Leave them where they are. They are not your responsiblity and if you do anything with them you are potentially opening up a can or wormsThe Daily Mail
