It's not a big place, and the OP has given enough details for someone familiar with the area to identify and locate their house - within walking distance of a BP garage, across the road from a park, has conifers on it's frontage somewhere as well as as a VW camper van and caravan.
I live locally and while I have not had time to go campervan hunting I do know a friend of a friend who was on duty at Cardiff Central on the night of the alledged Drink driving incident who said they did have a campervan driver "in" but could not confirm their identity due to confidentiality laws.;)
good enough for me.
next installment please Mr Jones.0 -

Or waste some time on google street view. Identify the house and then search the estate agents websites to find the house for sale.

Do you mean the solicitors aren't responding ... or the Clampetts aren't responding tyo the calls FROM their solicitors?
If the former, maybe they're taking an extra days holiday ... If the latter, then oh oh, problems looming (altho mobiles can't be switched on in Hospital I suppose .......).
In your shoes, if exchange not done by teatime today, I'd tell them that enough is enough, and they have to move off your drive, and start getting appts for viewing to re-market your houseI try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -

The camper van and caravan won't appear on google street view, and rightmove doesn't show any 3-bedroom houses in DP with a frontage that includes conifers."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

Not at all...But when I lived in Wales, my DH and I used to be friends with a family we came to know as the Calamity-Joneses, who I now suspect may be relations of yours. They certainly shared the same luck that you have!
..Unless of course, you recollect getting your car stuck in a pine tree on a mountain road at 2am on a winter night, some 15 years ago? In which case, remember the hapless mates who turned out to rescue you.
Best of Luck at the Solicitors today.
Incidentally, have you checked your home insurance policy yet, as Mother C is almost certainly preparing her claim against you as she languishes in her hospital bed! :eek:0 -
Thankyou Jones Family - You have made my Christmas/New Year!! I dont care if its all true or not, its just great!!! I think you should publish this!! I haven't laughed so much in ages!! More please!!0

you wont find our house on rightmove. I made them remove it as soon as we went under offer as there was a spate of burglaries in the area. I suppose Rightmove is a discrete way of casing the joint and besides, I have 52 inch of sheer pleasure in the corner on my living room that I dont wish to advertise.
There is also another problem, the house we are moving to is.. erm Next Door but one so if this goes ti ts up, our neighbour will not be amused.
The Clampetts solicitor cant get hold of them. I have advised my solicitor to advise theirs that unless we exchange today they must make alternative living arrangements. The solicitor asked what I meant, I explained and then he asked whether anyone was residing in the property as this may cause an issue. I wish I hadnt opened my mouth now.
12PM, come on phone, ring!0
