Please don't tell me the elderly Mrs C passed away in the night .... don't think I could bear the stress of her being buried in your garden pond.

Oh no! ..Mr & Mrs C had another bust-up and she's poisoned him with husbcat chilli?
Do hope Mother manages not to trip over the puppy while you're all at the hospital!
:T :T :T :rotfl: Thanks for sharing, Mr J - you're a tonic :rotfl: :T :T :T
You are spooky.
Right, got back in at 2am so have decided to take the day off work.
Last night, Mother C was upstairs fitting her waterproof mattress protector when the puppy decided to give her a hand. He (allegedly) grabbed one end of it and ran back out of the room to the top of the stairs. Mrs Mother C stood on the edge of the protector by accident and the dog carried on down the stairs with it knocking Mrs Mother over.
She fell back and banged her head on the corner on my pilates board which was in the bedroom (moved to erect the blow up bed) and due to the bleeding, which was due to the warfarin (sp?) we had to call the ambulance. Whilst we were making Mrs C Mother comfortable, the dog was licking the wound but thankfully he didnt run off with her bottom dentures which were lying on the floor next to her.
Mr and Mrs C were out at the time and so they only came back once they saw the ambulance leaving, hence the reason I had to take them down to A&E. We sat there for a good hours or so until the Dr had been round. Good job I had a car load of 50pence pieces as the Clampetts drank the vending machine dry and had no change for a tenner.
On the way home it was put to me that my dog was to blame.
Mrs J has now driven them back to the hospital. They were running more tests last night as they detected some fluid in the lungs, so Lord only knows how long they will keep her in.
My pilates board now looks like a mortuary table with the blood on it, so I think that will be the last time I stretch out on it.
I think I may go and walk the dog now and see about hiring a rug doctor and call the Solicitor to see if we can get exchange underway.0 -
firstly ... im so very sorry.
second your dog is not to blame, puppys are puppys and elderly people fall down.
i really wish i could change all this for you, but in twenty odd years you will still regale friends neighbours and grandchildren with this sorry tale.
thanks for the update.1. i'm bi polar.:rotfl:2. carer for two autistic sons.:A 3. have a wonderful but challenging teenage daughter. 4. have a husband that is insatiable. 5. trying to do an open degree.0 -
Poor Mother C but the cheeky ****s , trying to blame it on *your* dog!
I hope you have managed to get hold of your solicitor, get the exchange done then give the Clampets their marching orders until you have completed. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
Proud to be a chic shopper

Anyone who lives in the Dinas Powys area able to check on the veracity of this thread? It's not a big place, and the OP has given enough details for someone familiar with the area to identify and locate their house - within walking distance of a BP garage, across the road from a park, has conifers on it's frontage somewhere as well as as a VW camper van and caravan."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

It's a great story but I think thats all it is, a story. I reckon someones been reading "The Timewaster Diaries" by Robin Cooper. They are very similarly written and just as hilarious.0 -
Please please don't get carried away trying to 'uncover' whether or not this story is true. For most of us here reading it, it really doesn't matter whether it is or not. It has afforded us a very entertaining diversion over the festive season, Free of charge !!
Mr Jones, thanks again for your excellent writing.
IF this is true, then you have my sympathy, and you will surely get your reward in heaven for the extreme kindness you have extended to you potential buyers (don't count your chickens on the sale going through tho' !!)I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -
Did you inform your insurance company of your house guest/lodger?0
