:rotfl:They have a TV I guess. They have an arial on top of the motorhome. Its quite posh, I am wondering if they bought it with their house sale proceeds.
At least the house has its own security for a couple of days. More likley to nick their motorhome than my Saab

I would hate to see your Saab!! :rotfl:

Still on catchup and have spent the past half hour scanning through this thread. It did make me giggle, but it actually struck a huge chord. When I was a lot younger we lived in a bungalow with a massive drive, and some friends of ours sold their house and were hoping to buy a plot of land to build their own house and live in a mobile home whilst doing it. Unfortunately the plot of land fell through. There was a possibility that another plot would be available within a matter of weeks... so they asked if they could put their mobile home on our drive for a week or so.

....6 months later they finally left. I won't go into details but it was, shall we say, an interesting part of my life. I learnt to say no without being bothered as to whether people were offended or not so every cloud has a sliver of silver ;)

So those who think this is a windup.... don't be so sure!

the picture was taken when Mr C was dealing with the Pound police quite a few days back - seems like ages now

Anyway, this thread is by the by now. Something happened this evening about an hour ago which is quite serious. I have to make sure The elderly Mrs C is ok before I post anything - out of respect.

I am now out to drive Mr and Mrs C to the hospital. I will update tomorrow once we know the situation. All I can say, is I would swap with anyone else right now.
