Totally agree, it's all tosh - no decent jeans, no decent tops, nothing in slippers (normally a good buy from Next sales), I have saved myself a lot of cash by not buying anything! If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0

You can now, It's been available for everyone since 3pm today?War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0 -
I used to be a big Next fan, have to admit I think they've gone down the pan lately. I find many of the styles too young for the kind of people who shop there but not trendy enough for the ones they're trying to attract. Quality is def. poor, they make M&S a viable alternative for price. It used to be my first resort, these days it's my last.0

Are you for real? you cant choose to have a vip slot. So !!!!!! you snooze you loose?Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
Why not limit it to one of the same item per person then? Then ebayers can't buy loads of the same thing to sell on. Or make it so you can't order more than 50 things. Next should change their rules a bit. As for getting kids to try things on - try that with a crowd phobic, shop hating, clothes hating autistic child and see what happens. Public meltdowns and panic attacks aren't pretty so I buy his clothes online and try them on him when he's calm. Much easier for me and him. Some of us have good reason for buying things that might not fit and we can't just pop out either to try on. My three year old has swine flu so he can't go out at the moment and I have no babysitter who can handle his illness and my ASD son.
I used to work for Next and some stock is brought in for the sale but a lot is autumn stock. I've ordered stuff I've seen in the current directory not old stuff. I got my VIP slot by agreeing to have a directory - last year after having no slot for a year they told me that's what I needed to do otherwise tough boobs. I don't want a directory but getting one worked.
I am sorry that people miss out due to greed of others but that's how things are these days. Look on here at the people who ruin glitches and bargains by buying hundreds of something. Just greedy and unfair but we can't do anything about it. Some you win and some you lose (and I am usually a massive loser).0 -
