I've re-booted the PC a couple of times yes. I'm running XP (Service Pack 2)

How do I find the driver version?

It's been a while since I used nVidia drivers, but you may find it in Device Manager>Display adapters. Right-click your g'card & select Properties>Driver tab.

Or, try Start>All Programs>Run. Type dxdiag, & press OK. On the Display tab, under Drivers (on the right) you should see the g'card driver version. G

    P.S. Off to bed now....

Has anybody else got any ideas?

Surely it can't be that difficult?

There maybe an option in your graphics card well there is with nvidia that hides certian resolutions. What monitor is it you have got? Some of the cheapo 19" wont go up to 1440x900, my BIL doesnt, think its a Dab value monitor he has.

When I right click and go down to nvidia, I can get the screen you have in the centre but don't get so many options. I can't believe this is so difficult!

    I get:

    Performance and quality settings
    Colour Correction
    Video Overlay Settings
    NV Rotate
    Temparature Settings

    That's it!
