• Its one thing warning those posting offering money that not all posters are genuine, its another pointing at the OP and saying that you think its a fake

Yes, she is having trouble sorting things out, but not everyone has the basic knowledge of the way things work, I know my best friend if in this situation would be on the phone to me getting me to sort things out with her, if she didnt have me, she would probably be posting on a place like this, as she honestly doesn't know how else to sort things out (shes 32 but grew up with a controlling mother who until she disowned, would control all of said friends financial etc decisions)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

But why shouldn't I?
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

If I was in this situation and electric was a premium, first thing to be switched off would be the computer.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Don't listen to that advice...a computer is worth much more as a tool to find information than a few quid in your pocket. I gather by modem you mean the 3G dongle. I wish you luck and a merry christmas. Pop into the Mustard Tree tonight as was mentioned earlier if you can.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
• Hi

There is a church in Ashton (I presume you are in Ashton Under Lyne) called Church of Nazerene on Stamford Street. They are providing meals tomorrow to people who cannot have one. I have been there this evening to drop off some duplicate toys and books my son already has to give to somebody else and the man is really nice. They advertise in the local advertiser.
If you PM me I can give you their contact number, I am sure they will help.

Please take up the offer of help with anybody you can.

Take Care

Lady M xx
