well done peewa and now has op heared it from the horses mouth THERE IS HELP OUT THERE.
  • I have read this thread with interest. If the OP has been in that situation for the first time I can imagine the panic and despite all the offers of help, her mind would be in a whirl and would still be trying to do what she thinks is best and immediate. Like many my first instinct was to try and help as I am in Manchester too. However, after reading the posts of those more cautious I can see their point too! I think people need to be polite and helpful and not antagonistic, but at the same time keep it at the back of their heads that maybe some of the more cautious just may be right!

mummy123 i can help you out with some money, please pm me with an address, phone number or bank account that i can transfer some into.

Please don't transfer money to the OP - she has been given countless sources of help, and several offers to help her get in touch with the relevant agencies.
    Gone ... or have I?

    In that case:

My children and I are starving - we ate a thrown away take away for lunch and that was breakfast too. We have no lights or heating.

I've managed to borrow a laptop from my uncle Jo but he has no money as he lives in a bus stop.

I have no family nearby and I can't go and ask for help as we are all naked - I had to sell our clothes you see :-(

We have about an inch left on our last candle and then that's it - no light, no heat.

I can't use my phone as it has no credit and I have no electric so can't charge it up. I'm down to the last bar of power on the borrowed laptop too.

I'm desperate - please will you send me some cash if I pm my details?

People were so kind when this happened a few months ago so I'm counting on you.

It's not my fault - it's the dwp. Please help!!

Nor should OP consider pming her name, address and bank account details to a total stranger, even if they are offering to help.
Safer alternative sources of help have been suggested, OP needs to act on one of these first.

I'm sorry....and I hope I'm wrong but I do not believe the OP is genuine...there are NO organisations out there who would not help her and her children.....I hope I'm wrong about OP...because if she isn't genuine this thread is sickening as there are people really suffering at the moment and getting on with it as best they can!!!
  • I have closed this thread as the op has recieved some constructive advice and nothing further can be added.

Please do not send money or any other personal details via PM etc as your safety cannot be guaranteed.
