What food do you have in?

If you are genuine and you have called SS, then they have a legal obligation to contact you back immediately(within 1hr)

IF you are genuine OP and you have literally no food or heat etc, then you can call the police and they can help and contact relevant services.

The OP says they are unable to phone anyone but they do have internet access, obviously, and someone on here did offer to call for them earlier...

for god sake its his laptop it was free from the goverment he brought it with him on thorsday and said i could use it

OP...if you were reading this thread, I am sure that you would have doubt too.

If I was in your position, I would have contacted any friends, family, even people I hardly knew to ask for help for my kids. The kids father or grandparents as I'm sure nobody would want them starving.

Ok, as asked before, what food do you have in the house?

Someone on here or the oldstyle board will help you make the most of it.

That all happened before you were offered contact details for the Salvation Army, the social services emergency team and various churches. I don't understand why you have not spent the evening finding a way to contact these people?

  • Hi, Are you friends with any of your 6 yr olds school friends mum, I am sure if you explained your situation they would help, even if it is some spare food on Christmas day. My kids friends parents are really supportive and always help me out and I do the same for them as we are all in a similar situation.

I always over cook on Christmas so I am sure there will be extra amongst your youngsters friends families, and these will be people that live local to where you live so accessible.

I do feel sorry for you and the kiddies, but you have to bite the bullet and ask for help be it SS, the church, a neighbour or non exsistant father.

If you lived in London I would offer you Christmas day dinner.

    Hope you get it sorted.:)

I don't understand how they still have electric when it was on 'emergency' two days ago.

I know when I had a meter, the 'emergency' button only gave a day or twos worth at most...

You say your nan can't help out with money, OP, but how about going to her place just for the warmth - she would be glad to help in that way, surely?

Arguing on the internet isn't going to help you! Switch the dam computer off and do something to help your kids.
