to be honnest im begining to wonder.if i was in the same situation i would not be on here i would be getting help from somewhere.the bit i dont understand is why has the op waited until now to do somthing.ah well we will never know just hope if it is true she will get some help

People should not be offering money to someone who could be a scammer. No one is saying that they definitely are, but caution should be taken.

That people are offering help and it may not be true? Seems an odd way to go around things if it is.

All I would say, to the person who offered help, give them food and gifts for their children, not money.

There are all sorts who browse in the forum. e.g. trolls of all kinds
We don't know if the OP's story is fake or not but those that gave advice have done their bit. Who knows, may be someone else who are in a similar situation may benefit from the information discussed here (e.g. a pitfull of Avon/self-employment). If someone wants to get wind up/rant about so called 'sob story' may be they'd better off starting their own thread in Discussion Time or elsewhere. They should feel fortunate that they have never been in a situation like this. Things happens to people, just like a confident driver who have a car accident or redundancy which they thought it would never ever happen to them.

I appreciate your opinion but I think it is very relevant to post what I did here. I've never had a rant about anything posted on MSE but this seems suss to me and rather than have someone ripped off I felt better within myself by saying I thought it might be fake.

Don't think I have never been in similar situations, I have been homeless living in hostels, I have had to borrow money from family (which I am still paying back), as I said, I believe this is fake but if someone wants to offer help I would advise to offer goods rather than money.

You are entitle to your opinion of course. We just don't know.
If someone wants to post a fake story, it's their doing after all.
