So you tried calling TFL's bluff but they out flanked you but you accuse them of wanting their cake and eating it.

He who lives by the sword dies by it

Where's the bluff from TFL??? anyone???
I think you find its TFL who tried to call ASLEF's bluff about going on strike if they didnt honour the original agreement.

The bluff is TFL go to the press and let you strike, if you have not noticed the public are getting very fed up with the all of the tube strikes.

The postmen and women have found out that the public eventually lose their sympathy with strikers and it has allowed them to push forward with privatisation of the royal mail. With the Olympics coming up don't be surprised if TFL do their best to break the Unions.

You will find the sympathy of the public is waning with each strike on the underground

I'm terribly sorry, that was a lame attempt at humour, and something you clearly lack. I'll explain...A TUBE itself can't be driven, a TUBE TRAIN (or Underground Train) on the other hand can. What is a tube?

That's right i do lack a lame sense of humour. I have a sense of humour.. The two are massively different. But given your stupidity ill let you off this time.

Again ryan - you cant fault the DLR for being driverless. they seem to have less one unders then the tube do per year. Now is that because they are driverless or is it because of some other reason?

ASLEFS first strike in i believe 7 years.

    That's good.
  • Just wondering why you didnt do a 'work to rule' situation ryan? That would have kept the public on yoru side and you would not have lost a days pay.

They cant force you to do what you dont want - they asked - you asked for too much but you still could have gone into work and done your shift and fuct off home..

    odd that

  • I've looked at the facts. Its generally the same as the dispute Northern Rail had with their staff.

as i said before normally i would support you but this time i just dont see it. I dont see no picket lines of you trying to get your point across to the average joe. i see non of you out there waving your banners.
I do see tubes moving though.

]surely its you lot just trying to have your cake and eat it.

!!!! knows where my mayor has been ive been !!!!ing working.
    morning all.

yr main problem seems to be with the absence of pickets.

ryan has made the position clear: tfl entered into an agreement and they have broken it. their drivers have responded.

try to think of it like this: if you and I enter into an agreement which you later welch on I will look to penalise you. I'd expect you to do the same to me.

if you still 'don't see it' you're being wilfully ignorant.
  • Was there an explicit agreement that a non-bank holiday 26th December would be a Sunday service only, or was it assumed?
  • if you still 'don't see it' you're being wilfully ignorant.

torontoboy45, geodieracer is railway mangement, so which side of the fence do you think he will be on?. He will never see your's or ryan's point of view.
