Sorry to hear that you risk losing out financially.
I suggest that if you paid by Credit Card you raise this issue with them pronto (though I have been recommending that to anyone who was told to wait 28 days from way back); they should refund you.
Alternatively, paying by (Visa) Delta card gives you the same protection.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

Personally, I'd be looking to get my cash from the CC now rather than waiting for the promised refund from them.
Companies do not generally cease trading in such a way if they are flush with cash....Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Have been waiting for 2 psp's since October 3rd from ZU, been in regular email contacts with many, many promises of delivery, was offered the chance to cancel too, but why would I cancel when they were that cheap?
Now they've got bump and I just goota wait and see what happens next, I've done a support ticket for them to see if the promised goods have actually been despatched before they ceased trading, if not then refund. 90 Days they reckon to sort refund!! Hmmm, Its a shame only people with problems tend to post here, I wonder how many people actually got the goods they asked for?0 -

You were right it's not the Ivory Coast it a appears to be worse. This is what I thought would happen, and at that time I got in contact with my cc company so I hope every one thats been waiting does the same. Don't wait for a refund because I just don't think it's going to happen. Worse case as I said in my past posts contact the police if you didn't pay by cc card. One good thing is the traded through Nochex so the will have all their records and be happy to pass them on to the trading standerds or police.0 -

...I'd go with Nochex on that one!
I've refrained from dragging up all the pro Zu posts that thought I was being unduly negative towards them...Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

Why the police though, your business failing is not necessarily a criminal matter; I really doubt the police would care about this.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

Edhead wrote:Last I knew a business which knowingly takes money for a product they don't have then does not refund is a case of fraud.
Not necessarily, many businesses take your money (or a deposit) before they have the item. Then them not having the money to refund could be down to generally bad cashflow.
Unless you can prove deception?
(Me defending Zu!)
