I bought this one today online kec http://www.lakeland.co.uk/professional-piping-set/F/product/2233 looks like the icing bag that comes with it has awful reviews much like the others on the market, so will need to order some disposable icing bags tonight so we can do our cupcakes on Wednesday.

Asda seem to have a sale on bakeware and cake decoration things at the moment, having a quick look on my supermarket to see which local supermarkets have which bits, I can see me spending a fortune.

Have spent this evening trying to find the hummingbird bakery recipes, they look soo good!

Don't forget to share your pics :)

Thank you for your kind words savvy x

Asda had a lot of toppings on slae when I popped in yesterday but couldn't for the life of me find any cake cases! Esmer is right they do have the better range and nicer toppings :)

I have got the tala icing bag which is good but I wanted to have 2 bags so I could do 2 different icings on one batch of cakes without having to wash it all out between, mine own fault for being lazy lol

Here are the ones I made earlier, you can see where I tried to marble the icings together!

I looked at the hummingbird ones yesterday savvy they look sooooo nice

SavvyBunny and Kec09 : I was recommended the Hummingbird Bakery book before christmas by my manager who bought it his girlfriend randomly and she literally fell in love with the book. At the time I didnt bother looking into it as I couldnt afford it but added it to my wishlist then when I was at my dance lesson a few weeks ago the book people had been and the Hummingbird Bakery book was only £5! Put in my order and was soooo excited to get it the week after but when I went to my lesson it turns out my teacher ticket the wrong box so they had sent the wrong book :( she called then and they arent in the area for a month so I have to wait! I was devastated haha They have a new book out now too dont they, would love to have a nosey in that.

Well £120 later:( and my computer is working again:j
So, I haven't been around for a few days and with no computer haven't been able to do much moneymaking though I have popped to my parents house once or twice and managed to do a few t polls. I am soooo close a to a redeem with T and with about 10 projects open too. I had all my opinion points added so was pleased with that and have been doinga few more opinions today too now I know I am going to get the points. Have put a latest opinion on there so if anyone is heading in that direction - pretty please!

    Nice cakes everyone.

Congratulations on the new baby, so lovely to have little people in the family.

To everyone having men problems - grr, they are a breed unto their own!

Now I have downloaded and reloaded all teh discs and software onto computer I hope that I can concentrate on making up for a few days without. Hope so.

Have received my sony £5 and done the next lot of polls for next months £5. I think that is it this month so far though. Keep getting screened out on MySurvey. Hey ho, win some lose some.

I really need o get into gear with ebay, I say this alot, often tell th eother half not to chuck it I will ebay it, as of yet I never have. So in preperation for the next freebie weekend I am going to take loadsa photos of 'stuff' and get those on computer I think that is half of the battle.

Ok all, good luck with this months challenges.

    Nicola x

Kec09 I am sorry to hear of your troubles with OH. We split for almost two years ages ago ago have recently celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. You have to think if you want him back or not it should not be just his decision. If you want my advice on marriage or partnership I only have one word. Talk coz without that things cant change.
    Right end of lecture.
Moneymaking has progressed but I have been busy so havent worked out totals yet. Financially we are no better off as life seems sooo expensive at the moment. Still without the money making it would be worse so I suppose it is progress of a sort.
The good bit is I have stalls at a craft fair and 3 village markets before Easter so hopefully that will help a bit.

Hope all poorly people and families soon feel better.

    Morning all

All this talk about baking is making me hungry lol. I dont do much baking in our house as neither OH or daughter are big cake lovers and the size of me, I dont need more cakes.

Sorry to read about all the woes going on, I think I am lucky with my OH him having shifts like he does, means I do get a lot of me time where I can do what I like and watch what I want on TV, and when hes off I give him time by going up and doing my sewing for a couple of hours so he can catch up on anything he wants to watch that I dont like (Eastenders usually lol).

Havent done any surveys this morning yet, was screened out of all the ones in my inbox this morning. I did a review on doou yesterday morning and have one saved on the lap top as long as I havent already done it (done so many know cant remember what I have done and what I havent). Think I need about another 6 to go or 5 if this one is ok.
