It is difficult to suggest survey sites as a lot depends on your circumstances i.e. location, age, family i.e. kids as to whether you get picked or not. The time of day you have access to the computer also makes a difference as a lot of surveys are on a first come first served basis. You can get paid if you join survey sites via a cashback site i.e. Quidco/Topcashback. Elysia has listed a few on the first page of this thread. Here is a link about various survey sites from Martin Lewis. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/make-money-surveys.Can anyone suggest the top 10 survey sites ?
Missed out on claiming a voucher again on RewardTV on Friday - don't think my broadband connection is quick enough for this site. The site appears to hang when the clock strikes 0.00 and the page changes to show the claim button.
Received 4 DVDs in the post yesterday, comp win but don't know where from. Also received a mini bottle of Wella shampoo & conditioner from Supersavvyme (no samples left). The site does have money off coupons for various household products that you can print off. You can get paid 70p for joining the site via Quidco/Topcashback.
I also won £5 on Themoneybacksite's bonus ball competition (this will be virtual money until I have enough to cashout). :j0 -
kec - sorry to hear of your problems. Hopefully a break will help you decide the way forward, whatever that may be. Sending hugs
elysia - I was told up to 6 weeks for my knee but after 3 the pain is no better, so will make a GP appointment for this week
Savvy - sorry to hear about your clothes. My DH has just told me he's taken the old dyson to the tip, so bang goes that idea for the challenge
I got 90% of the way through a T survey the other day, to then be screened out - I was not happy0 -
Back from lunch with the rellies, had a good time and it was much more lighthearted than I had expected actually, DD was the centre of attention though which made me feel a little bad as it was his brother's birthday and the do have a 4 month old who didn't get as much fuss (he is a gorgeous little thing). Ignored his brother's girlfriend except necessary pleasantries so nowhere near as awkward as I thought it would be

Actually quite funny, set off out to the restaurant, so the only one I knew was in the next county, drove up there and hubby can't see anyones cars, told him to run in and check the bar and ask if there was another one, turns out there was one in our town, had no idea where though managed to find it after racking our brains and was only 15 minutes late :rotfl:
No money making happening here, just ordered the icing set you suggested esmer, thank you, and some muffin trays :j I think I should order some disposable icing bags too are these worth the money or should I be buying better ones?

Elysia - Glad the meerkat book has helped someone, such a brilliant bargain. Glad to hear DD2 is feeling a bit better, it's terrible when they are ill isn't it? Our dd has just got over a cold, she has been miles better recently with her crying and temper tantrums I think it was down to the cold. Well done on Doovous, will give that a go again later, have loads of makeup to review. edit - If we changed the name of the thread hun I dont think we could keep up with the posts!!
Well done on your freebies and wins aspella, I got the wella samples too, my hair is fine, yet wavy and unruly so look forward to giving them a go, if only to review them. I too am a luttle tired of getting to the end of a survey to be told sorry you didn't qualify, its svynetwork that do that to me, I'm stuck at £14 grrr.
Sorry to ramble on, hope everyone is ok today, you have all been sooo quiet
Edit - Crossed posts with you skiergirl, Men! How frustrating about the Dyson! I'm surprised he didn't have a go at taking it apart and sticking it back together before throwing it, I know mine would just because he feels it is his duty as a bloke lol.Comping wishlist for 2017

Evening all
Giggles unfortunately our shower doesn't work so I have to have a bath! You are right that hydrocortisone is useless but that is what I use for my face, I have betnovate for everywhere else. I do take the antihistamines practically all year because of my allergies but I will make sure that I am taking them every day, thanks for the tips
Rufus great paypal amount
Savvy glad you had a good time today
He has just popped round and dropped off some keys for work tomorrow (he did a job for us) and didn't say 2 words to me, no how are you, nothing, has not even called to see if I am ok, don't think he actually cares, time to think about going it alone now I think.
Sorry to go on guys, thanks for your support though.
I have done a VO survey today and a couple on T.
I had 14 ebay items finish, sold 7 of them, got £60 for the DS so pleased for that, £88 in total

I didnt have a money making day, I had a money spending........ :rotfl:
Borrowed mums vax and cleaned the carpet in her bedroom, cleaned all the wood, just the windows to wash.
I got the toy box slash drawing table for DD's room form Ikea, I got her new curtains, and a rug....
decanted a lot of stuff to go up to her dads! Her room is looking really fresh. I have some lovely butterfly stickers to go up on her wall. We will do that together, once I get her new single bed. I did get a bargain. Gorgeous pink rug for her room, half price in Argos, the curtains were also reduced. Rug was so nice I got my niece one as well in the lilac.
I hope you are all well. Im knackered!Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -
Esmer - you sound busy. I've done exactly that today too. We bought DD a new chest of drawers and a storage unit from Ikea in the week. OH put one up the other day and one today. I sorted out her room, putting Christmas pressies away (they were still stuck in the living room, behind the settee). Have been lethal with her clothes too, so now I need to buy new ones. Finally we have room to (almost) swing a cat. I got rid of five black bags and have a little bit for ebaying.

Savvy - I'm glad you've had a good day. Don't forget to post some pics of your cakes when you've made them.
Kec - don't rush into anything too soon.
Skiergirl - I hope the docs can do something about the pain.
Aspella - Well done on wiining your prizes.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

kec sorry to hear about your OH:(
savvy glad to hear you had a good day in the end but sorry about your clothes
skiergirl sorry to hear your knee is not healing as fast as it should
esmer you have had a busy day
rufus that is a nice amount to have paid into your account:T
elysia glad to hear dd2 is a bit better today
thanks for all the comments about ds1. he has always been small for his age but that didn't really concern me but the fact that he was overweight did so that is what prompted me to take him to the gp. the first person we saw at the hospital was c**p he said well some children are overweight and if he was mine I wouldn't be worried. but he sent him for a blood test and after numerous tests his condition was diagnosed. just goes to show you should trust your instincts.
omg there must be something in the air this week end. my OH has just been really stroppy with the kids, then he said i am going out. he came back and said I just can't cope any more:eek: basically he is a school teacher and they are being inspected (not by ofsted but the county council I think) and the man coming to inspect their department is a real nasty person who will pull everything apart - basically a real bully:mad: he is talking about resigning and going on supply. he seems a bit happier now but will see how he is in the morning.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Wow esmer you have been busy!
bunbun hope you can sort things with your OH, I think they are definately a different breed :rotfl:
I did some more cakes, tried to do a marble icing this time with chocolate and vanilla but it didn't turn out quite right as the new icing bag was rubbish, everytime i squeezed it just came out of the seams  That will teach me won't it, no wonder it was cheap!Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!0 -
I did some baking today too! I made banana muffins to use up the really ripe bananas we had left! I left them plain though and didn't ise them! I will try icing but need to buy an icing bag and nozzle first!
kec I bet your cakes look and taste fab:Tsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Kec - Well done on the surveys and ebay, you have done brilliantly! Hopefully the antihistamines help ease things abit for you. I think maybe your OH is a bit shocked by everything and felt it best to not say anything, I think it must have been a hard decision to have some time without each other and he may be trying to keep it all in. I wouldn't read too much into his reaction over the next few days, it's a big shake up and I think you are so brave to try and make life better, whichever way the cards may fall. I wouldn't write everything off just yet, but do take some time to be you, do things you enjoy whether its crafts and baking or a good book and an early night, concentrate on you first hun, thinking of you xx
Well done Elysia and Esmer on your busy days, sounds like you have got lots done! I keep meaning to have that good ole clearout and spring clean, a new week and a new start
Bunbun, good on you for sticking to your instincts, parents know their children better than anyone and when you just know somethings wrong they shouldn't overlook it. I used to work for my local council, most of us are friendly and really do try to make the difference but you do get a few jobsworths that thrive in causing undue distress. It's so sad to see so many feeling so low, we have days where things seem so hopeless and it's all about things out of our control, like the government mainly
I'm not so bothered about my clothes being ruined, they are just clothes really aren't they but it all added to the stress of the morning. I'm hoping cupcakes and lots of family fun will cheer us up a bit, and will be posting pictures the moment they are done lol, it's been ages since I have done anything in the way of baking, very excited and nervous!Comping wishlist for 2017
