    Evening everyone

Not usually on here this late but OH is at work and daughter is at friends then going to another friends house to sleep so I am waiting up until she rings to say she is there. Said she will be getting there about 10.30 or 11 so not long to wait.

Had £3 Boots vouchers the other day which I had forgotten about as stuck them in the drawer but just found them and then had email to say I have another £2 coming in next couple of weeks so that can go towards some make up or something for youngest daughters Xmas basket.

Did a few surveys tonight, cant remember who for though.

The business my son started up with me helping is not doing too bad, he said he will try to pay me some money over the weekend. Wont be a lot but might pay my credit on my phone and may be get some ink for the computer as well.

I don't use E45 either, I don't rate it at all as a moisturiser and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have a prescribed one called Doublebase and it's fab :)

Def agree re double base, its brilliant, touch wood grew out of my eczema, just get the odd break out on fingers, but dd has it as well as really fry skin, we had E45, Aqua cream, oil for the bath water, then u nearl go bum over boobs if you haven't rinsed out properly, but the double base has made a massive discount.

I find she gets on ok with body butter from body shop, and the botanic's range from boots. That has been absolutely brilliant, I just feel sorry for her if someones brought make up or toilettries and there a cheap brand, can't let her near them. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Im a huge doublebase fan :D. My friends all think its hilarious as its like a weird jelly consistency. I have never given body shop or botanics a go, although I suspect I may be ok with them, I dont like the smell of the body shop haha. I am a funny old thing! I use clinique for make up, eyeshadows Im ok with if they are a good brand as you say. I am the same problem with toiltries as gifts. Luckily my best friends knows I can not use most gift sets as body creams as a complete no go, bath products are a no go as I am banned from having baths and even if I was allowed to I wouldnt be able to use them, etc but I still get about 4 or 5 every year off people. I just smile and thank them and pop them on the car boot or recycle them! I used to use oilatum for the bath (when I was allowed one haha) years ago and your right... it is a health and safety hazard haha

Im up very early for a saturday for me (ok extremely early!) as I am off to Bury shopping today with my Mum and aunties. Its been a very long time since I have been shopping so looking forward to a girly day and maybe treat myself to something in primark hehe

Had ANOTHER VO last night so up to 8.25 now! Just 2 or 3 more surveys and I should be able to claim woohoo!

    THank you x

As I have not pension or savings I am trying to save 10% of our wages to build up some funds - I'm working towards the 1/3 each for saving, living and fun but a long way to go lol

Stressed - wow fantastic totals hun. You're Amazing.

Savvy - sorry to hear about your mum. Maybe she just doesn't want to 'waste' money on her - My stepdad is like that. Refuses anything I buy him, and if you ask he says he wants nothing - so this is what I bought him for fathers day http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/nothing/index.html.

Bunbun - you'll get a product test soon - I'm sure. :D I had that russian survey too, and one that screened me out because I didn't live in India!!!

What started the problems with DS? Did you notice he is smaller than the other kids or is he sleeping a lot because of the thyroid? Whatever happens we're here for you. Don't you forget that. OK? Rant, moan, scream (not too loud though please:rotfl:) whatever you need just say.

Esmer - I can't help with the car hun. It's all up to you. I presume your car was second hand, you've had it 18 months, and it's running OK for now. If it was up to me I'd stick with it, but there's something good about having a new car, and if your circumstances change you could always sell it. Go with your head, and ignore what your heart is saying. ;)

I had hoped for a Doou day as I got another crown, and I only need about 30 rates until payout, but it's still down. I think I'll pop over to toluuna and catch up with rates there. :A

  • Xrestricted – many congrats you must be very proud

Bunbun – sorry to hear about ds, hope you can get things sorted next week, and also hope you have some better nights sleeps. I know what you mean about fidgets, thank god my 2 have never wanted to come and sleep in our bed even when young as they cant keep still bless em!

Savvy – don’t be too put out by your mum. I expect she just didn’t want you to waste your money on her, my mum is the same. No way I wouldn’t get her anything though.

Well done all of you on totals and vouchers received, I received a £10 tesco card today from vo, so going to start saving them.

Had a nightmare day yesterday. The day did not start well as I was in so much pain from the minute I got out of bed, much worse than normal and pain back in chest again. Took dd to doctors for MMR jabs, she screamed the place down from the minute we went in there. She was fine about 2 mins afterwards though. Went to get back in car and that wouldn’t start. RAC wouldn’t come as they stated was not 1/4mile away from my house, so had to call my Dad to come and get us, take us home then run me to see rhumatolgist at the hospital.

Results from scan pretty inconclusive, showed something on right ankle and left hip but nothing else. She is still adamant it is vasculitus, and seeing as we have tried steroids, steroid injections and anti-inflammatory drugs she has now put me on another drug which basically switches off you immune system. Not overly sure this is a great idea as before all of this joint pain kept getting pneumonia and pleuricy and she did admit might get more infections as a result of taking this drug. Still give it a try I suppose. Have to go regularly for blood tests though as it can have adverse effects on the organs.

OH managed to get car jump started and took it to work but phoned today and said that needs a new battery. Really ****** off as seems to be one thing after another financially at the moment. Can sympathise with many of you on here that have had washing machines and cars break etc.

Never mind onwards and upwards, managed 1 2loony this morning was guaranteed as it was from the cereal I tested. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Take care x
