Well done on your crown Elysia, haven't managed one yet myself :T

Sorry to hear about your awful day twinkle, I hope things get better and that the battery for the car is the last in line for things to be bought for a while.

Was talking to my sister about my mum as she hasn't been herself lately, turns out she is going through the menopause, so her hurtful rant yesterday was probably her having a bad day. At least I know it wasn't me, or the fact I was buying presents, probably pent up frustration. I hope she feels better soon though, she had a letter through from one of those scam survey things telling her shes won a holiday and she has had to ring a premium number, send stamped addressed envelopes, and now being asked to pay a deposit. Me and my sister have told her it is a scam but she is adamant it isn't because she has done this before, and she had a go at my sister for suggesting it was a scam. I guess she will learn the hard way but it's all very odd for her, she never gets angry or argues :(

Have decided next year that I will be making cards (have planned on buying a die cut machine) and will be making cakes and cupcakes etc for mother's day/birthday and then the vistaprint things too. Then she can't really moan about buying things.

Not alot of moneymaking being done today, not sure what to get on with, maybe write some reviews and get on with ebaying. Had some really difficult buyers recently which has put me off.

Bunbun - sorry to hear about DS2, I hope the consultant can sort him out xx

Savvy - I'll look out for that shampoo, my hair needs a miracle ;) Sorry to hear about your mum being 'off'

Well done to those who've had a redeem, and especially to Elysia for the very profitable ones and stressed for your amazing total :D

Esmer - hope you've had a productive day. The only advise i've got about the car is to check the tax implications, I had one like that years ago and it made a huge difference to tax, so I was better off with a private car

Giggles - hope you've enjoyed your girlie day

Twinkle - hope the new drugs help your pain

I've done no money making today but bought some new bedding at JL using survey vouchers :D. my hands are really hurting from being on my crutches for so long though :(

    Hi everyone

Congrats on all the money making everyone!

Congrats on the new baby restricted :j

I don't think I have tried the doublebase cream before I will have a look out for that, is it a general moisturiser available in store? I am currently using dead sea spa magik dry skin moisturiser which is doing well for me to keep my skin hydrated and it doesn't bring out the eczema but doesn't clear it either!
I have dead sea salts for the bath as well which help.
I think I need to move to a hotter country, last time I went on holiday (8 years ago) I went to Teneriefe and my skin has never looked so good, the atmosphere out there cleared it right up.

I have to confess I spent my cokezone HMV voucher, I have been wanting Adeles album for weeks but couldn't spend the money but it only cost me £2.99 with the voucher so I am pleased to get a little something.

Esmer I was just wondering where you get your cupcake cases from and how much do you think is reasonable to pay?

Twinkle hope things start looking up for you soon

Hope you don't mind me offloading but I don't have anyone else to talk to. OH has been really grating on me for a while now I am fed up of his selfish behaviour, it all came to a head this morning and I have asked him to leave for a while, not sure how I feel now or what to do.... :(

Kec - offload all you like - I was going to ask OH to move for a while last week too. I really wish I had. DD2 is ill today, and he's been as much use as a limp lettuce. I usually feel like this and get over it in a few weeks, but this time even him being in the same room is irritating me. You're not alone Kec, hopefully a bit of a break will do you both some good and make you see things from a different prospective.

Skiergirl - how long have you got left on the crutches? I hope your knee heals soon for you hun. Get that new bedding on the bed, and have an early night. There's nothing better than a freshly made bed, and snuggling up warm and cosy. :)

Well done Miss Katy. I'll send a pm of the survey sites I do.

Savvy that will be the problem with your mum. I remember my mum had HRT for menopause. She came off it for a couple of months because it had bad press in the news - In the end we were BEGGING her to go back on it. She wasn't herself at all. :( I just worry about myself now - it's not far away for me - I'm 42 in July - our family go through it early. :(

Thanks Elysia, thats how I was feeling, even the sight of him was getting my back up. After all the support I have given him lately and all the problems he has caused for us I feel his behaviour is really really unfair, he has been making me ill (have had another bad migraine today) and I have barely moved from the sofa today when I had so many things I wanted to do :o
I guess we will see what happens now..

Thanks Elysia, I'm glad I know what's getting at her, I had a quick research online as my sister asked how long it lasts, 4-5 years for main symptons, from start to finish could be 8 years +. Did read it is one of the most miserable times of a womans life, must be really awful. Will have to keep an eye on things to make sure shes ok.

Sorry to hear things have been so carp for you lately kec, feel free to rant or just get it out hun, we are here for you. If it helps I think men are just odd that way, being more sellfish than women, I know my other half is alot of the time. Stick to your guns and see how you feel in a few days, you may just need some time to get your head around things and it could be the kick up the backside he needs. Either way we are here for you xx

Hi Savvy, I know what your Mum is going through, I had mine at age 45 so am out the other side now but I was so miserable and a pain to live with, dont know how my other half put up with me lol. I was never offered HRT, think it was because of my other conditions I have. You will find she has lots of good days though along the way xx

Good Evening everyone.......... Well DD at her dads and he has text me and she is fine, and got her bath, and in her pjs... and all ready for bed and sleeping by 10 past 8. I hope she sleeps all night. :j

Had a nightmare day yesterday. The day did not start well as I was in so much pain from the minute I got out of bed, much worse than normal and pain back in chest again. Took dd to doctors for MMR jabs, she screamed the place down from the minute we went in there. She was fine about 2 mins afterwards though. Went to get back in car and that wouldn’t start. RAC wouldn’t come as they stated was not 1/4mile away from my house, so had to call my Dad to come and get us, take us home then run me to see rhumatolgist at the hospital.

Sorry you had a CRAP day. I took DD for MMR, all I will say is a week later she will get symptoms. DD had a fever and was sore all over. Hope the car is not going to cost you too much. ***hugs***

Thanks, there is TAX and NI benefits, working for an accountancy firm they prob know the benefits more than me. My car is old X plate, so far its been a great car, I bought it with my own money after saving up for a few months, a very proud moment. As its old, its got lots of noises that I dont think are very good.......

I get them from Asda. I buy the muffin ones. I occasionally get them from hobbycraft. I always go back to Asda, I use the dark brown ones for chocolate and the white for vanilla :D

Hugs to you Kec...... your story is similar to mine. I want to just give you a big hug and tell you that whatever decisions you make it does end up all working itself out. I wanted to reach out to you and tell you to not bail out your OH business, that was my downfall, and I got left with ALL the debt... I ended up getting made bankrupt and my NOW ex took no responsibility for it and I was bailing him out countless times with my credit cards........ What you do for LOVE.

Just take the time to think it all over.... we are all here for you if you need to chat.
