Thank you for the kind words Elysia and Rufus dog, it means alot to me. I spent time reading through the leaflets and letter and have realised now is the time I need to get organised, very good reason to get listing on ebay, do a carboot and dump the rubbish so I can make a study area, starting to feel a little nervous now.

Sorry to hear about the hours being cut at work hun, it's never a good time to get such bad news. :(

Elysia, sorry to hear you had quite a few polls deleted, I wonder why things have taken a turn for the worst wit T lately, it seems that they don't want people to get to redeem.

Have been thinking about you stressed hun, I hope you are feeling a bit better. Glad to hear that you are ok, well done on getting your looney points added hun xx

Rufus I saw your cushion you made in the other thread, it is such a heartfelt gift made with lots of love, time and effort, it is just so stunning.

Hope ds feels better soon legendmum, I had bad tonsilitus (sp?) as a child, I think it was from about 3-4years. I remember my parents saying how bad it was, that I was always getting infections and getting very ill so I can totally empathise. At 4 I had mine removed, I remember being in the hospital, being wheeled on the bed into the lift to the operating theatre, which was very small surprisingly, and I remember being put on a cold hard metal table and being put to sleep :( Oh and the awful hospital food, battered fish and peas, yuck.

Sounds like you are super organised giggles, well done on the ebaying! I'm finding it hard to get motivated this last week, need a kick up the bum really, any offers? :rotfl:

    Evening all

I have to agree with everyone saying the shopping is getting so expensive, just had a letter to say electricity and gas is going up as well now, will be new council tax bills soon too, all happens at once doesn't it :o

To everyone with sick/naughty children I hope things get better for you, I don't often comment on things to do with children as I don't have any and don't really know what to say but just wanted to let you all know that I hope things improve. After just watching one born every minute I doubt I will ever be having any

Hi to all the newbies :D

Kirsty sorry to hear your hours are being cut at work :(

    Savvy well done!!

Giggles well done on listing all of those items, hope you make some nice money.

5 of my 7 ebay items have been paid for so off to post office straight after work. Then I need to take little kitty to vets as she appears to have a skin condition, its not fleas or mites it looks more like my eczema believe it or not!!! Shopping is delivered Tue night as well so now I am going it alone going to be a busy one tomorrow.

Screened out of every survey on T today and had nothing from any other site. I have done some peopls polls on T tonight, trying to work my way round but feel really tired now.

Cakes went down really well again, really tempted by that hummingbird book - must keep away lol

Thanks again for everyones support these last few days x

Legendmum; sorry your kiddie has tonsilities. I had that when I was young and had them out. Two of my children had it badly when they were little and both were admitted to hospital at the same time to have them removed. . It's always distressing when littlies are poorly. Hope he recovers soon.

Kirstymc; Sorry to hear your loosing a day at work. I hope that you will be able to cope with the drop in income.

Yippee, I have finally redeemed with T for an amazon voucher, had some points from a survey complted some time ago added this evening whilst I was on teh phone to my sister moaning that I only had about 400 points to go and had completed all of the mini polls. Anyhow, points receievd and voucher ordered.

I have also been making my way through peoples opinions, received points for my first opinion to reach 21 and a second one has reached 21 this evening too. I have another opinion that only has 13 so please if anyone has time to respond I would be grateful and of course return the favour. I have also been doing lots of 80 word opinions to get more points.

Been onto reward tv seems like a bit of fun, see what happens when it comes to getting rewards!

Legendmum - my little boy has had tonsilitis 4 times since just before xmas, I told the doctor this and he has now just finished an extra long course of antibiotics (10 days instead of 5). Each time we have managed to catch it quite soon but the 5day course wasn't getting rid of it totally. Fingers crossed the longer course of abs has worked!

I am off to bed now so happy money making everyone.

I haven't ordered the book yet, but what the hell - I might as well. I've been on M&S and have ordered stuff off there. I chose myself a lovely dressing gown - I might ask DD1 to pay for it for mothers day ;) Not much in the sale but I managed to find some pyj's for both DD's, and some Hello Kitty stocking fillers for DD's party bags for her belated birthday party.

Legend sorry to hear about DS - it sounds exactly like what DD had over the weekend - she was shivering cold, but high temp, and sore throat and sickness. She's well enough to go to school tomorrow - I reckon the school jinxed us, as we only recieved a letter home on Friday praising her for 100% attendance. Typical!!!

Giggles well done on the ebay listing Yay! Well done you. :D

Kec - I hope kitty is alright, and it doesn't cost too much money. I saw one born too - don't let it put you off hun. I didn't mutter a word, and had no pain relief at all! Honestly. The woman in the room next door was on her 7th and was screaming the place down though - It can't be all that bad, or she wouldn't have done it again. ;)

Right then, I'm off... Night all xxx

Nicola - well done on your first T redeem. Woohoo.

Savvybunny : Oh no the being organised is very deceptive as I have been meaning to do it for about 2 months haha. And I have been ill for 2 days so have done absolutely nothing and was off work sick today so had to redeem myself somehow hehe. It has set something off in my though cause I have now sorted through all my handbags/shoes/accessories/jewellery ready for the car boot and have found about 15 more things to ebay as well! Now you are all accepted for your course (well done btw :D ) this can be your incentive to get sorted in time for it to start so you can enjoy it and study hard :D. Have to say after years of education I am glad to be out of it now haha Although the task of finding a 'real' job is soooo daunting... is wrong that I actually now just want to be a wife, a mum, and stay at home making jam and baking and having tea on the table for my family rather than having a high flying career?!?!?!

Kec09: Thank you :D fingers crossed :D. I have a rule that I relist if not sold at same price, and then third time I relist at a ridiculous price (99p unless its deffo worth alot more) and then if it doesnt sell the third time it goes on the car boot pile! Aw your poor kitty :( At least you can sympathise with her, maybe it sympathy pains? hehe My boy (cat of course!) is currently curled up asleep on the bed, hes knackered from looking after me whilst I have been ill haha Which of course has involved giving me lots of cuddles and partaking in all my naps!

Kirsty: Oh thats some fab money making this week :D. Thast great that you got so much for something that never cost you anything in the first place!

Elysia: I think I may be the only person who gets broody watching One Born Every Minute that hasnt had a baby yet? Cause yeah I see how much pain the women are in but then I see their faces when that little baby is handed to them at the end, and surely thats the most amazing feeling you can ever have in your whole life right? My friend at work had her first last year and she rang the hospital and said she was having pains etc, and they said Ok wait till it moves down and backwards and then come. So she said on her sofa waiting and waiting and the pain never moved, then she couldnt stand it so went in anyway... to find she was 9cm dilated! haha Yet at the same time one of the managers had a baby and was in labour for 36 hours and have vowed never to do it again! I guess you will never know till its you what your labour will be like. I also cried the whole epsiode with the women that had had 4 miscarriages. I am an emotional wreck watching that show haha

argh totally failed on my challenge not to check ebay every 5 minutes, think I have checked it like 10 times haha even though I know that clothes rarely get bids till the last couple of days or even couple of hours!

Had to text my dance teacher to cancel my lesson tomorrow as I know I wont be strong enough, which means I cant find out if my Hummingbird Book is on its way or not :( so will have to wait till next tuesday now.

On the plus side it means I can make pancakes all night haha My Dad tells me I make the best pancakes! Although this year it will be lacto free milk as I am 10 days into being lacto free now, but Im sure he wont tell the difference. My brother got the keys to the house he has bought with his gf on friday. It is literally a 30 second walk from my front door so he said I have to take him and his gf pancakes over cause they will be working on the house hahaha

Well done everyone..haven't been around for a week or so and haven't totted up Febs totals yet

Some fab results on here and congratulations restricted!

Life has been pretty tough atm so behind with everything 332 unread emails, behind with uni assignment I just can't get into the groove and not been on BP for over a month now!

I did, however, make a batch of handcrafted soap (using organic and fairtrade products)the other day which needs a lot of perfection to get the mould shape and size right lol

Savvy - well done on becoming a student! Good luck with the course when it starts :)

Legend - hope your son is getting better. I had tonsilitus a lot when I was younger but for some reason the docs never took them out. Finally when I was 23 and training for a career that relied on being able to talk (teaching!) the doctors finally thought it might be a good idea to whip them out. I've been so much better since.

Kirsty - I hope things go okay for you. Is it a permanent change of might it be temporary?

Kec - hope kitty is okay. I know I shouldn't find it funny, but I did have a mental image pop in my head of a little kitty covered in doublebase cream.

Hope everyone else is well. I will hold my hands up and say I've been pretty useless with regards to money making - I just seem so busy that I barely have time to sleep or eat! Next week should be better (I seem to constantly be saying that!) so I will try to sort out some things to ebay. I have got a box of stuff that is just waiting to be put on so we'll see how long it takes me!

Better get dressed for work, got to leave in half an hour!
