Hiya Nicky - it's lovely to see you. Never mind it'll be Easter soon - and you can have a lovely long holiday what with the wedding and bank holiday etc. :D

Giggles - My one cousin had her baby on the hard shoulder of the motorway - she was featured in Take a break magazine at the time - I think I was 8 months pregnant with DD2 and panicKed that, that could be me. My other cousin has her babies so fast - two twinges and it's out, she had her last one while sitting on the loo. I'm so jealous. First was 5.5 hours and second was 22.5. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around.

On the subject of the cookery book, that'll teach me to procrastinate = I went to order it and the free del code had expired. I know I was getting TCB and that would have covered some of the p+p, but after using this site for a while now, I'm too mean. I don't pay full price for anything if I can help it.

Got to go now and take DD to school - be back soon. Have a good day everyone :D

Have to say after years of education I am glad to be out of it now haha Although the task of finding a 'real' job is soooo daunting... is wrong that I actually now just want to be a wife, a mum, and stay at home making jam and baking and having tea on the table for my family rather than having a high flying career?!?!?!

Giggles I know exactly how you feel. I graduated two years ago and haven't quite got into the work thing yet (it just bores me) but all I want to be is a wife, unfortunately I can't be a mum but I am hoping that I'll make a good step mum, but I still want to do the baking and have dinner on the table for the boy when he gets home from work. I love my little business and want it to grow but just don't have enough time to do it all, (and the surveys!)!

Savvy congrats on becoming a student, it'll be some of the best and stressed days of your life but you'll enjoy it!

    Part of the Furniture
    Morning all

Got a busy day today, off to buy ingredients for pancakes and cupcakes if OH ever gets up. Then I have the dentist, joy!

Elysia, most of the recipes from the first book are available online if it's just the recipes you are after, we are making black bottomed cupcakes today (choc cupcakes with cheesecake filling) and the vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting, but we will be making some little fairy cakes with this recipe I think.

Right best get myself sorted, have a good day all, catch up with you this afternoon xx

Well done Rufus - I just came on here to post the same thing. Mine shot up by 20,000 too. I just made another redeem for Love2shop. :j

I had one survey this morning about the referendum - It was a good job they said at the start that no-one gets screened out - I know nothing about politics, and all mine says is ' Do not know, done not know, all the way down. :rotfl:

Savvy those cakes sound good enought to eat ;) - please post a pic. Thanks for the info on the recipes.

Restricted - just going to take a peep now. :D Ohh he's gorgeous Restricted! He's going to be one very spoiled baby. I can't wait to see your pics. Did you ever get the purple hoodie/cardi finished? That looks so sweet, and your nappy cake is fab - I would never in a million years guessed it was the first one you had made.

Well thanks all for your messages! DS did have a rough night as expected and I was up from 3 til 4.30 this morning kissing teddies and puting them to bed and talking drivel with him! He seems better today but as soon as the ibuprofen wears off back comes the temp and the whining!
I constantly had tonsilitis as a child and they were going to take them out but I stopped getting it for one year but even now at 27 still get it at least once a year! I will enquire about getting his removed if it continues as he has had it 5 times and hes only 2!!!

Well I am off to nosey and see if I can get anywhere today with surveys but doubt it as hes sitting on me now! lol!

Legend - don't you worry - DS comes first.

Done my surveys I've been emailed and the sun is shining beautifully here, so I may be brave and try and sort out the garden for a bit - try and make it look presentable - OMG I need a miracle - anyone got one going spare? :)

Eylsia; WOW! That is fast! I would love to think that will be me haha My Oh tells me my painthreshhold is ridiculously low cause I whinge at everything but then when I have had a brazilian wax the beautician said I must have a very high one cause I hardly flinched and alot of people she does react alot more. SO who knows what Ill be like haha Oh yes they do always say the second should be easier, poor you!

Twinklekat: Im glad its not just me! I feel quite guilty because my whole education I have been told I am going to do big things and have a great career and make lots of money etc. I have got a degree in mathematics and a master degree in statistics, but now I just want to live the simple life. I havent admitted it to anyone except one girl at work who also studies maths, and strangely she feels the same haha Although part of me wonders whether its because Im scared I wont be able to live up to expectations. I think the plan is to try and find a good job and work for a couple of years so I can get a house, clear debts etc then I can be free to have lots of babies hehe I also want to get my little business off the ground properly. Going to contact a help group that helps new businesses as it all confuses me so much! and I want to get it right.

Restricted : Oh your Grandson is so adorable! I bet you are very much the proud Nanna. I love that you knit too, my Nanna was amazing at knitting and I still have lots of toys she knitted me whislt growing up. She passed away 12 years ago now and I will cherish them for the rest of my life. Infact my biggest regret is that I never got to teach me how to knit, although its not something most 13 year olds are interested in but now as I am growing up and becoming more interested in crafting it is a skill I would love to have. My Mum is able to knit quite well so have asked her to teach me.

LegendMum : I would definately enquire with the doctors about having them taken out, 5 times is just too much for a little babba like that :(. Make sure they knwo just how disstressed DS is with it and how is has distruped everything, otherwise they may just ask you to wait longer.

Woohoo its pancake day! Im feeling alot better today so going to have a lovely shower and get refreshed then need to take my comptuer to the comptuer fixing shop as they replaced my harddrive but it crashed when we put it on. Hopefully it will all be ok as I really need to start using it again! Then I am free to make pancakes all night haha
