I made him a scarf for Christmas, he has photo mugs, computer mats, calendars etc with his granddaughter on but I'm really stumped what to do this year. He is undergoing chemo and radiotherapy for cancer at the moment so wanted to get him something to 'cheer' him up as neither myself or daughter are allowed to see him due to his radiotherapy (I'm pregnant and she's only four).
Any help and inspiration would be much appreciated. Sorry, if I've gone off task.
What about something to pass the time whilst getting through the chemo.

Hello all :j
You're all so organised............I've only just taken down christmas cards and cut off the bits I can re-use. Been trying to order some stuff from vista print............it's so slow...........so far I've got as far as t-shirt and pen (for foster daughter OH's birthday in February) now wondering what the delivery will be................do they charge per item or standard del. for whatever you get ?I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Just finished writing out monthly list of cards required for this year, I need to make 26x birthday cards, 2x mothers day, 4x fathers day, 1x wedding anniversary and try to make at least 4 Christmas cards each month (I have plenty of kits to use up).
Just need to work out gifts for everyone, these will be mostly homemade this year quite excited about it all, now I have sorted out my crafting supplies!0 -

Don't know it this will be of any use to anybody, but I was on the hunt for cellophane bags for cards and found this stationery website where they have a clearance section. You can also send off an SAE and get free samples

Hiya, my god this thread does move fast! Im just popping in really to stay in the loop! I ordered 2 x mother day gifts the other day from the debenhams sale, however after thinking about it I am considering putting the gifts away for Christmas and giving them to mine and OH's sisters! Will probably wait and see what they look like when they get here, also I rang debenhams regarding another order I made, which before I ordered to collect in store, and I have been told they have been despatched which is good, I was worrying that the order would be cancelled and they are christmas gifts!
Anyway I am going to go back a few pages and try and catch up abit more! xxLBM AUG 2009 - Debts £20,000+ Debts now 13,582.06:j Seven Debts Paid Off :jSnowballing to pay debts - Muffin V's Catalogue [STRIKE]£1700[/STRIKE] £1480.000 -

Thanks for your advice some really good ideas here. I will need to see which would suit him best as money is very tight but I do like the hamper idea where we could make some bits and pieces. Thanks again.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'
