Right then, have had a refund after an order went missing then found what I was looking for on H+B and order the dead sea salts along with a couple of half price masks for me.

Instead of feeling tempted to spend way more on a high brand as usual, decided to try this range and give them a go for the price. Also ordered a soap for brother as he has as sensitive skin as me.

When these arrive I've nearly done. I'll look for some towels or pjs at the weekend then it really is just a few foodie bits. Having a go at Turkish Delight, cheese biscuits, maybe a dessert on the day, stuffing and sauces. Also fudge and pinwheels of fruit and pinwheels

I sorted out 2 big preserving hampers today of jam and chutney and taking some in to work tomorrow to work for a friend to buy. Then some space is regained at last in one cupboard! Also taking in a giant toblerone for the hamper at work as I don't need this and will be giving some HM fudge instead for gifts

Just under 3 weeks to go now!

Evening all

Yay Mary, you have a toilet at last. I have a downstairs loo which is fine during the day but I dont have one upstairs and its a nightmare during the night having to come down.

I made a start on my dining chairs today, I stripped the old fabric off two of them, took me ages as there were thousands of staples. The chairs have fabric backs as well as seats so loads of them to hold it all on. I got the two chairs sanded and varnished too so now I can check tomorrow and see if they look alright as they are or whether they need another coat of varnish. I have 6 chairs altogether so I need to get my finger out to make sure they are done in time for Christmas.

morning all

have just printed oput the nov/dec challenges. so i can rcheck the nov one and have the ec one handy.

hand delivered all my local cards yesterday all deccys are down out of the attic to go through and put up during the week but tree is going up at the weekend
have posted all family cards and hand delivered my families pressies just have two more pressies to post off

doing a christmas stall on saturday so eldest DD is cutting out reindeer food labels to stick on packs of that this afternoon im still knitting last minute stall filler.

I made the baileys white choc fudge last night,. its only my blog Now in the Freezer Going to make the other fudge tonight if I get time, and Freeze, then all I have to do is pack it up

Clare - loo not working yet..............by the weekend.......its just sat there looking -well, like a loo should.................lol:rotfl: I'm just so relieved its got so near to being all done now. Then its just the painting, putting floor down.............oh lor..........will it be done by Christmas ? Does it matter ? Not a bit..........lol

esmer -did have a look at lush but couldn't see anything that said gift wrap but my eyes by then were falling out my head so may have missed it.

At last............all my Christmas cards are done with some to spare in case I forgot anybody.........relief. Even got the stamps on those that are being posted
Tomorrow I might play with my fabric...........gravy tub sat here that could be covered for my buttons -or something and must do some clearing up while I'm at it.

Hospital appt with OH tomorrow but not till late afternoon so I'll have a bit of time to do something before we go.

DD's chicken pox seems to have stopped developing and is now starting scab. Nice. Sorry if you're eating your lunch!! She loves her advent calendar though!
