Hope everyone ok, what a wonderful day we had with the weather, took Miss Hoodie to Rhyl for the day, got a bit of a shock when we found it had disappeared, aparently closes mid Sept, we went down to Pensarn, and she loved it, really plzed.

We sat out in the garden yesterday afternoon until way after it got dark lol. I took one of my sister's photo albums out and the lap top and made up some labels and embellishments to print out to go in it. I sat and cut them all out last night but have yet to put them in the book. Then I need to do some for the other sister's book.
I was talking to my sister in the morning and sent her a photo of one of my new tops and she liked the fabric, asked me if I could cover a note book with some the same for her birthday (Dec) so I sat and did that too while out in the garden and covered her photo album in it as well. Sewed it all up by hand save going in doors to use the machine. We were in Asda in the morning and I bought two lovely notebooks in there, they were £2 each. I have cut out a cover for the other one for my other sister but I am going to machine sew that one may be tomorrow. I will see if I have got some fabric to cover her photo album too.0 -
Hello all :j
rufus - thats just reminded me I need to get couple of notebooks, one for me to use as next years journal and one for my friend. Everyone else has had notebooks year after year and must be fed up with them............lol
Been putting some odds and ends back in the bathroom and I'm left with loads of bits and pieces that'll be perfect for a two friends of mine -that'll make christmas virtually free :T Well for them anyway...........and a few other folk I can think of.
Trying to keep it as cheap as possible this year and should manage it what with kitchen storage jars we don't need anymore that are quite decorative as well as bathroom stuff.:)
Started to cut out some more fabric hearts yesterday so may well carry on with them today...........depending on how hot it gets.
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hope everyone ok, fun and games last ngt, we think someone either tried to break in or take a short cut through the back yard... Thought at 1st mum had fallen out of bed, course I could hear voices, then thought no its blokes voices, could hear them going sh... sh.... coz Bailey had spotted them and run up the side of the shed to bark like mad at them. Just glad not been organosed and put stuff back in bedroom, as its blocking the back gate. So rang the police to log it, but they rang back got to give a statement, got an officer coming round Wed, was going to ask for tall, dark and handsome.... but thought better not!!
On good side, as couldn't get Bailey in, put my pommegrates to soak in Vodka, looks gorgeous, Miss Hoodie just confessed that she tried it as she wondered what the pomegrate was doing in a bottle!! little madam she is.....xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Blimey Mum2one, bet that shook you up! I wouldn't like to think what would happen if someone got in our back garden and our dog Harvey was out there. He brutalises the front door when the postman is outside as it is.
I finished covering the two notebooks and the photo album and I have printed out all the labels and embellishments now and put them in place. I a not going to cover the other photo album as the cover on it is nice anyway. The other one, the plastic looked a bit wrinkly.
I went in Boots to get some bits for ED's hamper. Saw a bottle of No7 face cleaner on the shelf and thought I would get one of those as I had some of those vouchers in my bag, checked before getting to the till and found they were all gone from my bag. I must have thrown them out. Never mind, I got a nice set of lip balms for £5 and paid with points on my card from when OH bought all the first aid stuff for his trip. He goes two weeks tomorrow, it's come round so quickly.
I sold a bag from my Folksy shop today so I will have a bit extra money to spend if I see any bargains around later in the week.0 -

Unfortunatelty I had a female officer sod law!!
I managed my 12 hr fast for diabetic check, get the results back on Monday, ure the doc be moaning...
Miss hoodie had her chat with the gp, hes worried about her with everything going on, he asked if he could anything to make her happy what could he do, and she said stop mum having to go to court as its making her ill, (bless her cotton socks), get rid of cafcass (def agree), and him (her dad), and while your at it the Irish lot (her other grandparents), they lied to me and said they'd never sent him photos when I saw them. How the heck I never burst into tears, both with pride, and for the guts it tookdher to say that, he has suggested she sees a counciller, but shes a bit wary as she saif cafcass were meant to help me and they just don't care. So for now were going to hold tight and see when the next course case is, or whether he accpets the proposal we put forward. I just feel so flippin useless. But were get there eventually xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
mum2one, I'm a counsellor and although I don't see clients under 18 if I can reassure Miss Hoodie in any way please let me know. The important thing to remember is that while cafcass have an agenda of their own, the counsellor's agenda is to be with their client where they are and help them sort through difficult thoughts and feelings so it becomes easier to understand everything and make a plan to make themselves feel better. It might help to think of it as a place where you go and put all your painful thoughts out onto the floor so you can then put them in order - a cleaning challenge for the mind.
And now back to packing.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
