Hope everyone ok, fun and games last ngt, we think someone either tried to break in or take a short cut through the back yard... Thought at 1st mum had fallen out of bed, course I could hear voices, then thought no its blokes voices, could hear them going sh... sh.... coz Bailey had spotted them and run up the side of the shed to bark like mad at them. Just glad not been organosed and put stuff back in bedroom, as its blocking the back gate. So rang the police to log it, but they rang back got to give a statement, got an officer coming round Wed, was going to ask for tall, dark and handsome.... but thought better not!!

Blimey!!! Scary! Love how you take things in your stride.
Bless Miss Hoodie. Cafcass - I know nothing about them, but I take it you've put in a complaint???

mum2one, I'm a counsellor and although I don't see clients under 18 if I can reassure Miss Hoodie in any way please let me know. The important thing to remember is that while cafcass have an agenda of their own, the counsellor's agenda is to be with their client where they are and help them sort through difficult thoughts and feelings so it becomes easier to understand everything and make a plan to make themselves feel better. It might help to think of it as a place where you go and put all your painful thoughts out onto the floor so you can then put them in order - a cleaning challenge for the mind.

    And now back to packing.

Sugarspun you are the most wonderful person thank you. xxxx

Cleaning girl took me to get some felt for grandsons decorations........I'll end up ordering some on-line I know it............selection in our sewing shop was useless. Wanted the right colour for gingerbread men and there was nothing ! So, did the charity shops , drooled over a couple of jumpers, didn't get them and now wish I had.............lol Typical me that is..............lol
Did manage to get some more card so least I can finish off the family christmas cards now

    Hope you're all ok:)

Isn't it always the way Mary when you dither over something and then don't get it and all you can think of later is how you wish you had bought it there and then. I am glad the shower seems to be getting sorted at last.

I just ordered a Cath Kidston mug for Son's GF from Debenhams. Found it on the grabbit, reduced to £4 and there were codes on the code thread giving free del and 10% off, so got it for £3.60. Will be just right for her as I have made her a bag out of CK fabric and I have bought her a CK toiletry gift set as well to go with it.

Went to see ExMil today, she is getting on ok and looking well after the bad year she has had so far. I went to the town first to get some sewing thread for SIL's craft hamper, was only £1 a reel, I just bought the one roll and then did a Mary (lol) and wished I had bought some more while in there. Mind you, I will have to go up the town either tomorrow or Saturday (hopefully that is) as I sold one of my bags and the lady is paying with postal orders so I will need to take them up when I get them and either cash them in or pay them in my bank.
