Sorry to hear about the allergy attack Mum2one, hope you are feeling better now. Good job on the carboot xx

I have got a present for my son now, OH bought himself a new shirt in M&S yesterday in the sale, and it was too small when he tried it on so I said I would give it to son instead. Its a lovely shirt, very smart. I am thinking of making him up a cooking hamper, I am going up town in a bit so I will have a look in Works and see if they have any good cook books for a country cuisine, and then buy some ingredients to go with it. He likes cooking.

I have been up the town, bought a Thai Cooking book in WH Smiths. They had the same set in Works but had everything but the Thai one. Was only 50p dearer in Smiths though. I am just going to go through the recipes and see if I can make up a shopping list.

    Hello all :j
Managed to get rudolph head done and one gingerbread man finished in between phone calls to hospital about OH;s appts..........seems he's seeing registrar next week about his back and transport hadn't been arranged as it should have..........tried to check with 'stomach' chap but no reply-try again tomorrow when its not tea break time ! Checked about endoscopy appt.........all the leaflets been sent but no appt and he'd been told it would be 'urgent'.............soonest appt is Nov 1st !! Thats what they call urgent ! Next was appt with gp as he'd been asked to go after last weeks hospital appt.........soonest he can go is next Monday !!! So tomorrow he's ringing again to tell them its an emergency -he's had a few bad days over the last week and weekend.
So..........two gingerbread people to do (for son and his girlfriend) and I'm almost done apart from ordering grow your own tree and can of snow for little grandson.:)

Hope you're all well and mum2one -stay away from the toffee pudding:)

No one's been on since this morning's post. The weather has been fine today here, I hope it was where you all are. We won't get many more now, I am dreading the cold weather again.

The Cath Kidston mug came for Son's GF this morning, that's her finished. I found the list of dvds that OH wants for Christmas so I ordered all of them from Amazon with my vouchers, that's all his main things done now, just little bits and pieces to bulk it all out.

YD is back with the bf lol, wonder how long it will last this time?
Its our anniversary on Sunday, 12 years, I bought him a card while I was up the town. We wont be doing anything together as he is working all day, but my Son has asked me over there for dinner. I will need to try to get OH's dinner done before I go out so he has something to come home to. Might even cook some of it on the Saturday if I get a chance, though supposed to be out then as well.

Hi Mary, we cross posted. I hope you are not going to have to go through another saga again now with appointments. Glad you are nearly sorted with your bits and pieces. I bet the gingerbread men and rudolph heads look lovely xx
