Hi all, I enjoyed reading all the latest posts.

Thanks for the explanation for Silhouette Susan, I was imagining all sorts of things LOL

The last few days any spare time and I've been on that craft site I recently posted about, and also been out a lot, (DS is home on a visit) and we've been walking for miles each day -and stopping in on pubs :)Today I was drinking water instead of cider LOL

Don't know if it's fate but everywhere I've been in the last week I keep coming across novels that are about Christmas - even in the pub yesterday there was one. I meant to write down the title but forgot. Today in the charity shop I spotted one by Mary Higgins Clark - didn't expect one by her.

    Morning everyone

I havent been on for a couple of days as had a bit of a time of it. YD and her BF were held up at knife point and the person took BF's phone. We have had police round taking statements. Luckily they didnt get hurt but I think it is affecting YD a bit now mentally. We also had to enrol her at her new college on Thursday so lots going on.

Its my Dad's birthday on Tuesday, I wrapped up his quilt now ready to take over there.

I have had emails to say my Artscow orders have been dispatched so waiting on those to come.

I had the new charms for YD's bracelet so I changed them around yesterday and put the new ones on and took some of the others off. I now a a few extra ones which I will use next year to make something for the nieces.

Not a lot more going on really until some of my orders turn up. I still need to get some wool to make YD a cardigan. I had better see if I can get that next week so I can make a start on it as its a long one and might take me a while to do.

  • Ordered pedometer today for mum's hamper and was about to order some salts for the bath salts recipes and discovered have add in VAT and a huge delivery cost so probably need to rethink this a bit before I add on another £15 to the order costs

Sorry to here what happened to your YD and her BF. That was very shocking and I hope they are both ok

    :xmastree:Hello Christmas Crazys!!:xmastree:

    How dreadful Rufus :-(

Today I am going to make my Mincemeat, and have started painting the Coasters with Pip. I bought some Porcelain pens so he merrily scribbled all over them and I've written "Uncle *** Tea" or Auntie *** Coffee" on them as well. Also been collecting the paper bags they give you at work with your lunch and just got Pip to sponge patterns onto them with Red and gold paint.

Can anyone recommend a nice, but cheap, toddler camera??

    Have a good weekend everyone x x

    Hello all :j

rufus -what a dreadful experience -just hope they catch the ******** (can't print what I think!!)

Started another wrist warmer this morning and finished it...........one more to go so that'll be another pair..........these are for one of my friends.
Think everyone will be having them this year.......lol

Thought about getting fabric out and carrying on with that but then thought I'd give my eyes a rest and not create a mess all over the table like I did yesterday............lol

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Thanks for the good wishes everyone, they have got the person and he is being held on remand until the court date so thats a relief.

The last of my photos came this morning so I have them all now ready for some albums when I have the money to get them. OH's Kouros came as well so I have stashed that away while he is out at work.
