    Hi all

Today I was walking back from the doctors after getting my ears syringed (made a difference to hearing everything is echoey now) and a hot air balloon was coming down right near me, went behind some trees so I couldn't see if it managed to avoid coming down on a road and reach the fields or not. I had visions of it landing right by my feet at one point.

Clare cdsmiler - i offered to make them for you free , i like to help people not make money. I have the things here, i live by the card factory and lots of friends give me things for frr as they know I`m always making cards/gifts for charities. Like the air ambalance, scouts, local drama groups. So why dont i send you some of both. Boxes look the best but you have to assemble them yourself....lol. Oat are cheap in asda...I sold them 75p a box at fairs but i know others charged more.

Angela - a silhouette is a cutting machine that when you get to grips with it, it can replace a big shot, dies and punches. It has awesome capabilities but is expensive to buy. I won mine. And when it arrived I sat there looking at it stupid because I didnt know what it was for. Now I have joined a forum in america with some lovely people on it. The customer service of the machine is the best i ever came acroos and I klove it. LOL at the air balloon incident. They`re so quiet arnt they, then they give a puff of air and frighten you to death.

tazmac -thanks for the heads up. Probably be all sold out by the time i get there. Been chasing tents around b+q all week. DS left his behind at leeds festival. Need to get another while they`re cheap

  • susan - you are an ANGEL. I'll PM you my address, but I want your address in return so I can send you a thank you card if nothing else!!!

On another note - I used to buy muffin cases for cupcakes from ASDA. They seem to have stopped doing them, and all my cupcake recipes are based around cooking them that size rather than the small cup cake cases. Has anyone seen any of the muffin sized ones in any other supermarket?

    Thanks!!

cdsmiler, I bought a stack of them in a pound shop the last time I was in the UK. Can't help with the knitting, I learned to do it this year but wouldn't call myself even competent ;)

This is a fantastic craft site - you'll be lost for hours and all the patterns are laid out really well.

On the top row (think it's left hand side) is a section on all types of cosies.

And further down in the fingerless gloves section are handwarmers amongst other things.

Tesco sell the big muffin cases in white but often seem to run out of stock.
