be careful with patterned cake cases, i brought unionjack ones and animal print ones from morrys and they stick to your cakes, when you take the caek out to eat them you eat up with the outside of the cake welded to your paper. they are the standard size ones not the muffin onesSPC~12 ot 124

Hello all:j
Can't remember which site I got pattern for wrist warmers from but think I just put 'free pattern for wrist warmers' in google and all sorts came up. I just wanted to know the number of stitches really and made up my own pattern......sort of.........I'd got some off bits of wool so bought some new and added the oddments for stripes. I like them as they're easy to do and not too big a task. Just finished a pair for young cleaning girl..........next is a pair for gardener chap but he prefers just plain colour.....no stripes.......bit boring I think but still easy. Like the hot water bottle cover idea..........friend of mine always has hot water bottle in the winter and she'd love it...........:)
Took me all morning to make birthday card for neighbours daughter !! Couldn't believe it would take so long..........still, its done now and she's in the process of blowing up endless balloons for a sleepover tonight ! Not much sleeping involved I think.............lol
OH took himself off to the pub so see his mates to stop himself going bonkers being shut at home.........no beer involved, he's gone off it completely which is probably no bad thing and it did him good just getting out for a couple of hours..........plus meant I had some time just for me.:)
More fabric samples arrived so I must get stuck into doing some little fabric hearts and stuff:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all
I went to the pub lunchtime and now feel a bit tipsyI'm supposed to be going out tonight and tomorrow lunchtime, will have to stick to coke. I went years without any alcohol at all so it's strange how a small amount can affect me.
Mary, lucky you with the samples.0 -

Clare tazmac -thanks for the heads up. Probably be all sold out by the time i get there. Been chasing tents around b+q all week. DS left his behind at leeds festival. Need to get another while they`re cheap
you would be surprised as many of them are not priced up at this so if your store has a customer scanner its def worth a looksee

Morning All
https://www.thetoyshop.com have more sale stuff at the moment - I've just ordered a few things like a HM duvet set for £3 and some halfprice Bakugan stuff.
I've got most of the kids' stuff now - I just need a tv/dvd/freeview for DS's bedroom.
I need to get a camera for my parents and I think my DH wants a laptop or a netbook. It's only for using in his lorry so he can go on facebook and stuff so do you think just a cheap netbook would do?
I have sort of been keeping up with you all although I haven't really joined in since last Christmas.

Hello all :j
OH not having such a good day today but plodding on and trying to get on top of it.
I had more fabric samples come !! Crikey.....forgot how many I'd ordered. Anyway, set to and made three little fabric hearts (red material with gold stars on) and a little boot...........some of the other pieces that came today are big enough to cover a medium sized notebook ! Yippee............:rotfl:
Downside..........two tomato plants have got blight -well think thats what it is so chucked them out. Rest of the veg is doing c**p apart from chilli plants -so far so good.:)
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi juliejim, - yes a net book would be fine for his lorry, but remember, netbooks dont have dvd/cd drives so if he wanted to watch dvds he couldnt.
I use mine for going on holidays. for the net and things, its ideal..
mary - good to hear OH got out for a while, change of scenery will do him good...
angela - hope you ok, you made me laugh, if i smell wine, i`m tipsy...lol
