So far OH had no really bad pain attacks......just the normal constant pain he gets.........so fingers crossed. Thank goodness my son rang me last night and brought me back to reality ! And gardener chap called this morning..........pops up every day to make sure we're ok and if we need anything.
Managed to finish off sons wrist warmers .......all bar sewing them up.............lol
OH not knowing what best to eat so I'm wearing chefs hat and doing fish cakes salad and new pots............hopefully he'll manage that ok.

Must start on my 'christmas in a box' -doing one for my son and his girlfriend and an 'extra' and a few for other people..........not sure who yet.......:)

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Its quiet on here this weekend, I hope everyone is ok.

I made another bracelet last night to use up the rest of the silver chain, its for Son's GF.

I also ordered OH some Kouros EDT from Amazon, so that will be his first present out of the way. I used some of my vouchers but I think I should be able to make them up again before Christmas.

I just odred the last of my prints, this time from Snapfish, they cost me £2.19 for 64. Now I need to find some nice photo albums that are the self adhesive kind. If anyone sees any on offer can you let me know please. I need some that have 20 actual pages so you get 40 sides.

    Hi all

Like Susan with her Silhouette (what is that?) I've been side tracked the last few days on a couple of craft sites, I'll add the links in my next post.

One is about make do and mend. Another is a youtube craft channel with a couple of ideas I thought were brilliant. One reminded me of Mary - covering tins. You use rolled up pages of magazines. I'm definitely going to try that one as the results look fab. The other one was making pendants from those plain see through glass flower arranging nuggets.

Rufus - well done on those wonderful bracelets :)

Mrs moneypenny, sounds like you got some good bargains, and free damsons too. That jam will be fantastic, I love that taste. You're a very good friend buying the teddy and also those extra pressies.

I'll be back later with the links.

    Afternoon all

I have had a busy day, did a bit of sewing this morning then Grandson came round and helped me lift all out paving slabs in the garden and flatten the space out then lay them back down again. It looks much better out there and I am very pleased with the result.

OH gave me a list of dvds he wants for Christmas last night so I now have something to aim for instead of the phone. I will get them from Amazon, I still have some vouchers due to me, I think I have £50 worth out standing from two sites and I can redeem another £20 this week if I get my skates on.

Thank you for the comments on the bracelets, they were so easy to do and look very effective. I just need to get some nice jewellery boxes now. I ordered some more charms this morning for YD's bracelet so she will have some with some meaning. I don't know what I will do with the ones I take off, I might put them by for next year and make handbag charms out of them for the nieces.

I had a £15 Am voucher ready on T just now so I have applied it to my account. I am back up to £113 on there. I need £140 now for son's and YD's then some extra for OH's dvds. I think I have another £35 owing, £15 from T and £20 from I*s*s, and should be able to redeem another £20 in a few days from DY so I am nearly there. I will keep up the DY for next month too though if I can although I seem to be struggling to find anything in level 1 and 2 to do.
