Hello again
Looks like I'm going to be having a dramas with DS home. Bit of a disagreement this morning then we were ok. Later the rain started, atrocious, roads flooding, rain like a waterfall. We all had a lovely day out (his brother from the care home is also here) and afterwards I did some shopping (some frozen) and put it in his car. Then his brother and I nipped into another shop while he was supposed to be waiting in the car just outside. Because of this I said I didn't need a carrier when I bought my things. We came out and no car.
After walking home and getting soaking wet we discovered the car was on the driveway and he was going jogging (in shorts and t shirt in this weather!) and when he saw us didn't even register he was supposed to have waited outside the shop. We had words. He went off and when I got in the house couldn't find my other shopping. Found it in his car, doors locked. I wasn't best pleased. This is the DS that is always applying for tv shows, he's got an interview for the Apprentice next week. Let's hope he doesn't forget all about that like he forgot all about us today.
Sugar spun that sounds like exciting news. Is the new house far away?
Mary your taxi trips sound very synchronised and reliable. Did your OH ever like making models?0 -

Piglet, you poor thing, same thing happened to me a few weeks back, I also lost everything.
I haven't got round to it but it's possible some of my pics are still in an online photo album or on sites where I've posted them. I lost all my bookmarks so can't remember where I've put my pics and also lost passwords so can't get into the site.
Perhaps you have some pics online?0 -
Angela.............what a day you had ! One you could have done without........sounds like something off one of those sit coms. Bet you were mad.....is he sure he ought to apply for The Apprentice ??
OH doesn't like doing models, jigsaws........nothing that involves sitting down at all really except listening to the radio, doing crosswords and then watching tele (oh doesn't he sound boring............lol) Normally he'd be out in the garden, going for a walk into town round the park, and generally ''doing'' if you know what I mean.
He normally does the shopping and cooking and at least he cooked last night and tonight......now he's saying he'll get the shopping next week -just because I forgot to get onions.............lol
piglet...........what a disaster losing stuff like that ! I normally print anything I want soon as I can ''just in case''.
Computers been running slow lately and think I need to thin out ''favourites'' and ''history''..........can''t remember how to clear history now though.............lol Have trawled so many sites looking for a pretty floral pac a mac and they were all megga expensive or out of stock ! But now I found one.........all nicely modelled by a 20 something but I've ordered it anyway..........lol
Oh what it is to have a muddled brain.......:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Piglet, how awful
I back all my photos up regularly after a similar incident, if you have a Gmail account you can do it through Picasa or just store the pictures as attachments in a Draft email (or email them to yourself and put them in a separate folder).
Anglea, the new house is a bit out of town, close to a forest and stunning. Just waiting on confirmation
Artscow.com has an offer on, three 18x24 canvases for $20 delivered. Code 1824CVAS till the 28th July. I did their two smaller canvases for $9 a while back and the quality is amazing. Good gifts? (you can buy more, but they need to be in multiples of 3 and can be 20x20, 16x20 or 16x16 too). I'm pondering at the moment, Banksy's website is completely open source for private use, which means that as long as you don't intend to sell something you put his work on you're free to download it and use it on stuff like canvases. I think a Banksy print would be a good gift for awkward teenagers and MSE too :money:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
Hello all :j
Lovely day -few clouds but no rain so far.......bit on the breezy side for me though.
Had lazy day as didn't sleep well last night....don't know why, just one of those nights I think. Left me a bit 'headachy'' though so any thoughts of sewing went out the window.
Sugarspun - house sounds lovely........near a forest, how blissful is that:)
Hope you're all ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

We survived the summer fete, and the weather kept good for us, I did my own stall, and dad ended up having to stay with me, it was on grass and we'd got the school seats kept sinking in, but the good news we made £53, which was brilliant as the dearest thing we sold was £2, and the cheapest 15p, some little book marks, so thats 1/3 off Prague, bless him darling daddy (thats the creeping mode!!), hasn't realised that he's paid the rest of, trying very hard to get it back to him asap.
Another one sunday, different school, so were going to concentrate more ob the carboot side than jewellery as we did today.
Hoep everyone ok, am off to bed now xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
