    Hello all :j

mum2one - I put a complaint in earlier this year when OH was sent for xray and hospital doctor didn't do it, said his back was muscular..........he'd got 4 fractures ! Complaint all fell on stoney ground then so don't know if its worth the hassle.
Saw him this afternoon and he looks well........blood is 9.5 -should be 10- and he's only had 3/4 pint of blood so thinks they may give him tablets-won't know till there's a doctor about tomorrow morning. Managed to catch ward sister and got name of consultant and reeled off list of questions I'd like answered by someone and I'll ring in the morning -doubt doctor will speak to me though........they never do. OH looking ok but got trots so they'll not let him out while thats going on. He asked nurse this morning for something for it but she can't give medicines out and when I left at 4pm he'd still been given nothing..........I'm making a list of all this

Cheered me up going to see him.............had an hour in the garden with a book and now cooking something to eat.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Hi all

Enjoyed reading your post mum2one, what are you doing to do about the decorating?

Susan, I finally thought I got the fonts sorted apart from the graphics at the top of MSE which were still weird but I could live with that.

However..................today it's another story after someone else had a go at making adjustments. I give up :(

Mary, it always amazes me that patients over the weekends don't always have access to a doctor. Is that why the nurse couldn't give any medicine - or is it only given by a special type of nurse? Makes you wonder what would happen in an emergency.

Nickybo - you got some good bargains thanks for writing about them.

    Hi all

Comp is slightly better today so I'm going to leave it alone before anything else goes wrong.

What are you all doing today?

    Hello all :j

Angela -a week ago doctors had said OH could come home then he had lunch and stomach flared up again and eventually they managed to find a doctor to give him some pain relief. Seems nurses aren't allowed to prescribe anything and thats why he couldn't have anything for trots yesterday. He was in and out the loo all night he said and this morning after they'd tested a sample they said they thought it was magnesium tablets he'd been having........he's stopped them now, they're giving him some 'anti-trots' pills (can't remember what they're called but you can get them at the chemist).
Doctor went to see him and said he can come home !! Well, wouldn't have thought hed have been allowed home while he was like that. Neighbour can fetch him tonight after work so all being well he'll be home but thats 4 times they've said he can go and then something happens so I'll believe it when he walks through the door to be honest.

Been lovely day so been in the garden but its clouded over now. Been looking on internet for pac a mac (pretty one) and they all seem to be sold out !

    Hi everyone

Had a quiet day really, went to town this morning, was hoping to post some bits I sold on Ebay yesterday but they hadnt paid. But when I got home there was a card left to pick something up from the sorting office so will have to go back up tomorrow anyway. One item is now paid for so hoping other one pays before the morning so I can do both at once.

YD was packing her case for her holiday earlier, came down with list as long as your arm "Mum I NEED all these to go away with" etc etc, whittled it down to three items and my Dad had given me an envelope yesterday with some money in for her to take away so I gave her that and now she has gone shopping with her friend. Her and the BF split up yesterday but you wouldnt know it lol. Think he is more upset than her.

Been getting some more bits photo'd ready for Ebaying this afternoon, takes a while to get them all in Turbolister ready for listing.

OH is back on nights again from tonight and over the weekend so lonely week for me, what with YD going away, glad I have the dog.

Mary - fingers crossed OH gets home tonight xx

    Hi all

I think we need to hold a virtual party for OH when he 'finally' comes home. _party_

Today DS is unpacking all his boxes from all his years away and we're going through them, I seem to be adding to a heap of stuff I'm keeping that is useful for me.

He wants to reduce it down to one box as he wants to travel light in future. My dining room, garage, summerhouse and patio is like a warehouse at the moment. So much for any de-cluttering plans :( I didn't even know he was arriving home just turned up out of the blue with all his stuff.

    Xmas Saver!
Hope eevryone ok, quiet day here, - more shattered after entertaining Miss Hoodie and her friend yesterday.

Poor dad - he's roped into starting to strip the wardrobe on monday, then we can get walls all washed down, - then finish tidying up.... nightmare week next wk, - got hospital Tues for xrays on knee, docs on Wed, - he's living, he's been an absolute brick over everything, then thurs is the court case, then be 1 more week at school and its hols, hope to get my room all sorted ready to have painted and then the furniture done. Hopefully be sorted, just a ngtmare get there.
Just waiting for the settee to be delievered 2mor, fingers crossed everything should be ok.

Mary - Hope OH is going on ok and they get him sorted.

Angela - Was thinking of you earlier, was looking at xmas cards on Vistaprint (free), and miss Hoodie wants one of her and the dolphins, not quiet christmasy!! - her excuse was they might think I look great and give me more money to go, if only life was that simple. There was a xmas card design, you could put your own photo in, but on the other side was a picture of cupcakes, - looked brilliant.

Am off to bed.... just couldn't sleep, stuffy weather. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Mum used to tell me she was exhausted arriving by ambulance then having to recount the story (as well as lists of medications) loads of times even when changing from one bed to another one a few feet away. And it was all supposed to have been written down during the first telling.

They do it for a couple of reasons, firstly to cross-reference with the paperwork on the bed to make sure there's been no mixup and that person, paperwork and bed all belong together. Secondly, if there's been any loss of consciousness or suspected absent seizure it's a control for concussion or TIA.

    HTH?

Hope mum2one and Mr Mary get their stuff sorted soon.

I ordered loads of free prints yesterday to go in my Christmas cards because I had a code. <superorganised> I may also have ordered my toddler two pairs of new shoes :o

Having my moles checked today, I am definitively not looking forward to it but it needs to be done because a couple of them are a bit misshapen and one of them is itchy.

    Morning all

Turns out I have a busy week ahead, didnt realise it until my friend texted me this morning to see which day we can meet and cant do any of them.

Son is picking us up this afternoon to go to his for tea, possible BBQ but might rain. Tomorrow I am hoping to go and see ExMil in hospital if everything goes well. Yd has her prom tomorrow, managed to get herself a free makeover in Body Shop booked for the afternoon then going to her friends to tart them selves up lol. Thursday we are taking them up to London to catch their train for their holiday and then Friday my Dad has a hospital appointment in the afternoon and my Bro and I are taking him. Be glad of the weekend to have a rest lol.
