    Hello all :j

At last OH is home :T Not too sure he should be what with still having ''trots'' and been given nothing for it. Hospital 'think' its the magnesium tablets he's been having so took him off them, he's no more antibiotics so think we'll have to see GP as he still doesn't feel his stomachs quite right. Got to hospital at 6pm...............got home at 8pm ! No paperwork had been done, no medication sorted out..........nothing ! Managed to speak to a doctor (who at least apologised) and afraid I did lose my rag a bit and told her more communication with relatives would be vast improvement and although they say allow 4 hours to collect patient it had been longer than that -they'd said he could leave at 10am ! Discharge papers make no mention of the op he'd been told he'd have in 6 weeks......just follow up appt in 2 months, plus follow up appt about his colon -that already came through for Dec.30th !! So, something wrong there I think.
Have spoken to ICAS about it all -lady was horrified- and providing I can twist OH's arm to sign form to let me deal with it (he hates fuss) I'm listing all my grievances and sending them off.
Oh and the hospital also said his blood was ''no too bad'' ! What does that mean exactly ? Mind boggles.
    Anyway, rant over.
Went to see my mate this afternoon......great big farmhouse and lovely garden............mind you, didn't stop me sitting in ours and enjoying it -at least till it started raining................lol:)

Am now at least getting a yearning to get my felt out and start doing something with it -providing nothing else crops up !

    Hope you're all ok:)

    Hi all

Rufus that does sound like a hectic week ahead, any time for crafts?

SugarS. thanks for the explanation about the hospital, it makes sense of course. Was you skin exam ok?

Mum2one, I feel tired just reading about all the sorting out in your house. Miss Hoodies LOL and the Xmas cards.

Usually at my craft club on a Tuesday I'm cutting out pics that can be used on my envelopes, quite often they are of lovely cakes. Today, I bought my craft folder to sort out and I showed some of the ladies a pattern that I adapted to make a cross stitch wedding card for a cousin that married into aristocracy.

I didn't know what kind of present to get them, so thought a personalised card that could be framed might do. I was nearly drooling over the wedding cake pattern and decided that I might do another one for myself. Then I made a strange discovery, amongst my projects I had this sheet of printed minature cake tops. It took me a while to work out what they were - must have been for the dolls house hobby where you make cakes from felt and can stick these pictures on so they look as though they are decorated. Well that's what I think they are. Any ideas?

Seems strange that Mary hasn't posted yet.

OMG Anglea, it was the most thorough skin exam I have ever had, she examined all my skin, even the skin that lives in my bumcrack  without so much as a warning she was parting my cheeks. I almost fell out of the window.

Still, I am delighted to report that I am melanoma free :j

Glad Mr Mary is home safe :)

    Hi all

There have been some unexpected conversations on here in the past but your post SugarSpun took it to the limit! :rotfl:

    Very glad everything is ok.

Mary, time for that virtual party now OH is home - I'm bringing banofee pie. You must be relieved. Although from what you've written there is still a long way to go with all the hospital malarkey.

    Hello all :j
Rain stopped play so no sitting in the garden for me doing absolutely nothing today:o

So far so good and OH says he feels ''OK'' (breathes sigh of relief). Had visions of getting GP out today to give him more antibiotics for his gallstones.

Angela -you're so right.......there's a way to go yet. More appointments with colon chap, gall bladder chap and back chap -can see this going on till Christmas and beyond !
Not to worry........he's home and maybe today I'll get my bits of felt out and see if I can concoct something........if I've got enough of the right colour.

    Hope you're all ok:)

:rotfl:Sorry for laughing, but that really is funny! I can't believe she didn't even warn you! I have a mole on my back that I need to get checked, I wonder if I'll be treated to the same examination
