Sorry Sugarspun - I do read and keep up with the thread, but no time to post all the while. I just had to today though. What a nightmare. I'd have died of embarassment. I'm really glad that you got the all clear though. Congrats.

Woohoo party for Mr Mary - I'll bring the bubbly. :) I'm really pleased OH is home Mary. It sounds like it's going to be a long road to recovery, but at least he's home.

Mum2one - How's Miss Hoodie today? Give her a hug off us.

    Xmas Saver!
I am so plzed have just had the bargain of the century, popped into boots, and I always have a look at the clearance rack, its hit and miss, but worth a look, -- 2ngt there was a toilettry bag set, Boots cocoa butter, (big tub sugar scrub, big tub moisturieser, and tub of showergel. No price on it, but someone had scribbled 50p on the barcode, so grabbed it, what a surprise at the till they wanted to price check it, I had 3 managers trying to get it to run through the till, in the end they agreed I could have it for 50p, but take a chance on the contents,(incase they were missing), - checked it in the car, and its perfect.... nothing missing, all the tissue paper in place... so thats going to Karen's new Aunty at xmas. Bless them emailed tonight and were over the moon that I asked was it ok if I did a list and they could choose from there for Miss hoodies bday, they asked what she would, didn't mention budget, not the thing to ask, - thought get round it by suggesting amazon and argos, - there over the moon with that, but as well as some stuff of the list they wanted to get her a main present of a mid value mobile phone!! Thou shes got one!.

The cafcass saga, I've won another roundm the same woman in not allowed to see miss Hoodie (whether that was her doing or her bosses), but the court report is meant to be filed by this Friday.... they can't get to see Miss Hoodie till Mon after school, tthey said as long as the court recives the report by fax, the day before the proceedings that ok!!

Then got a letter from my solicitors to remind me of the court case, (as thou I could forget!), got to be there 30mins early incase we need to speak to the cafcass officer or his lordship!, thats if he turns up, but knowing him he would this time, just to cause hassle.
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Hello all :j

Cleaner couldn't get here till 2 today and car was having mot so I had a go at doing the co-op shopping on my own ! Bit daunting but I'd got the trolley to prop me up................lol First time I'd done any shopping like that without someone holding my hand............wore me out but pleased I did it :T

OH not so good last night or this morning so when I had blood test first thing I asked for him to call. He came about lunchtime........gave OH some stronger pain relief and more antibiotics...........OH was starting to feel like he did when he went to hospital and felt he needed something to reduce the inflammation of the gallstones. GP said if he's no better in couple of days to go back to hospital:eek: My word if he has to and it turns out they sent him out too soon they'll get a complaint and a half !!! So, we'll see..........hopefully it won't come to that.
Daft thing is............on his discharge sheet it says he has to see consultant about this in 2 months then on another sheet it says appt is for 2nd Dec !! Does that make sense ? I'm thinking not so phone call tomorrow to sort it all out.

Cleaner was thrilled with her ''kitchen kebab'' of brillo pads, scourers etc....................lol:)

    Hope you're all ok:)

Piglet the challenges are on post 1273 or was is 1873, mind's gone blank. One of the two.

mum2one, what a brilliant bargain, bet you were glad you went into Boots. What a palaver with the court case. One thing on the plus side lately Miss Hoodie will be getting more presents.

Mary, how did you get home with the shopping?

As it happens I went to a new co-op near me, much shorter distance to walk than the normal shops, its a very small one but very well stocked. Apparently open 7 am -11pm, which will put the tiny corner close by shop out of business no doubt. The shop is smaller than my dining room and has alcohol and papers. Now the co-op has those too.

Not a usual co-op, a Southern one. I never realised they were all different types.

    Sorry to hear about OH.

Bit of a drama last night. DS had gone out and about 11.30pm I thought I heard him come home. I went downstairs, no sign. Shortly afterwards heard very loud music, thought it was strange a party on a schoolnight. One of the neighbours up the road often has parties, kids in the road, drunk etc. This time all looked quiet. I was peering out the window, DS's car still on the driveway. Then I got worried about that noise I heard and went to double check nothing strange by my door. In the past i had eggs thrown so I turned on all the lights at the front. Music seemed even louder and I was surprised none of the neighbours hadn't gone outside to see what was happening.

About an hour later it was quiet. Then DS came home and I asked if he'd been home earlier. Yes, he said. So that was one mystery solved. Then I asked if he'd heard the music from the party and he said no. So I told him how loud it was and he said it was him. Apparently all along he was sitting in his car with the music on.

Didn't he see me looking out of the windows, or when I opened the front door. No was his reply.

    Kids!!!!!

Anglea - that would have freaked me out hearing someone come in and then not finding anyone there. Mind you my dog would have given it some if someone had come in.

Too tired to stay on tonight so will update tomorrow xx

Morning all, raining hard here this morning. Glad I dont have to go out till this afternoon, Got all YD's presents wrapped yesterday, she has a nice selection, had forgotten what I had bought her. Also got niece's present wrapped and ready to post later in the month. Popped in card factory yesterday as had to get her a card to go with it and they had their 7 for £1 cards in again so bought enough to do all the nieces and nephews until after February next year. Have two to buy for next month, OH's and GD's but will pick them up during the month when I am on my own.

OH's Mum gave me a few nice gift bags yesterday while she was having a sort out so they will come in handy.

    Hi all

    You sound well organised Rufus.

I went into card factory recently but their 7 for a pound selection wasn't as good as in previous years and didn't suited the people I buy for.

I've got some birthdays this month but I've been so busy lately with the financial stuff, the solicitor, then DS1 came home and now I've got DS2 so I haven't had a chance to think about them. Perhaps if I got off the computer......................:)

    Hello all :j
Wet day.........well on and off. Gardening chap managed to get some sweeping up done and coming back tomorrow morning.
OH says he feels bit better today -whether he does or just saying that to avoid going back to hospital its a job to tell. He's so bored.......do with he had a hobby of some sorts.

Angela.......I got back from shopping with taxi. Had taxi to GP's to have blood test, then taxi to co-op, then taxi back...........then home delivery for all the shopping so didn't have to worry about that olus delivery lad is very good and brings it all through to the kitchen for me.

What a commotion with all that loud music. Used to have a family up our street who seemed to always be having a party of some sorts but they've gone now -got so bad we couldn't hear the tele sometimes.

Not done anything much today............catching up after yesterday

    Hope you''re all ok:)

I've just updated my card-sending spreadsheet so all the addresses are nicely in one place. It's messed up the formatting a bit though, which I find rather stressful and can't fix.

Oooooooooooooooooooh and we're planning to move house in the next few months so could be in a new house for Christmas :D
