Yes - Elysia - promarkers are currently flavour of the month in this house. I now have 68 - but 2 of those are doublers, one is a blender pen, and one silver and one gold - so out of the range of 148 I have 63. I also have lovely letraset wallets for them - each wallet holds 24 pens. I hope to be money neutral enough to buy some more.

Sorry to sound "thick" but what are these? Sounds very interesting :)

    Morning all,

I managed to brave the hell that was Central Milton Keynes sales yesterday in search of bargains. Didnt get any wrap as have loads, likewise tags as am going to recycle this years cards into tags.

What I did manage to get was some bits for birthdays and xmas next year. For my mum who is coming over from nz for xmas with the kids and I next year I got a matching coin purse and compact mirror (original price £13, paid £6) a boots body butter set (op£10,p£5) a leather photo brag book (op6, p£3). Got FCUK aftershave set for kids to give their dad on fathers days (op£16,p£8). Got a top for DD 9th birthday in april (op£9,p£4) and a Where's Stig book for DS birthday in july (op£8.99,p£1.99). Original price of all £62.99 and I paid £33.99 - CHUFFED!!

Am exhausted now as still not quite over swine flu, just the tiredness not contagious!! I've downloaded the spreadsheet mentioned on the sister thread and been putting in my figures. Am having a dilemma about tesco vouchers. Until now I've used them to swap for days out with the kids in summer hols as it means I can take them places they wouldnt normally get to go. Dont know now whether to save them for xmas instead? Am inclined not to and to try and ebay etc instead for funds as I love being able to take the kids out for a treat. What are your thoughts?

Just decided to look on lakeland myself as I saw the above, and found a variety of collapsible steamer baskets, which I've been looking for for ages now I have a dishwasher. Thanks!

ProMarkers are double ended felt tip pens (fine time and chisel tip), originally used by artists and designrs, but have now been discovered by crafters too. They are alcohol based rather than water based, so not only are they permanent, they do not bobble the paper which you get with water based markers if you go over the same place a few times, but they are non-streaky so they give a more professional finish. Mostly the results look printed rather than coloured. Copic ciao markers are very similar but a little bit pricier, and at £2.00 a pen the promarkers are plenty expensive enough for me.

A3 paper - I personally want it for cutting up to use on top of birthday and christmas cards rather than using it for the card. You could fold it in half and use it as an A4 card, and then decorate it, you could also cut it in half, then fold it in half, to make A5 cards.

I have now coloured in 2 princesses, a frog and a prince to put on my friend's engagement card. I printed out some sentiments (words) to put on, but that bit went wrong so I'm going to do them again.

I kinda have a blog - I set it up about a year ago, and only posted on it about 3 times before finding it again a couple of weeks ago. My intention is to get it up and running again, but I haven't managed it yet.

Just found my blog for you - I will link it to my profile - there are no pictures on there yet

Link should now be on my profile - let me know if it works.
