Thanks Esmer I spent £25. I bought a jam book too - the £4.99 one, and some Jam jar caddys - they were reduced to £5.99 when I looked the other day they are £3.99 now. Result! :)

Mary: Every crafts a pound and Mad about cards are the cheapest - other than that, check out ebay as they have sample books of papers. Type 8x8 Dovecraft backing paper - they are really cheap.

I'm glad you had a good day Rufus

Took ages typing this out because I was adding links for Mary so I've missed the last few posts - sorry.

Anglea - If it happens again I would still say something.

Karma - Here Here! I think it's a wonderful site too. This whole thread (and the people on it) are wonderful. :A

    Hi all

Mary, the food bin is supposed to go out each week where I live.

Gemini, I don't think with the amount of posts you have there is a problem with attachments or links. However, it can be tricky to add them, some website addresses are easy to do, others you need to have a few goes (or more ). Same with photos.

Lol, I must have those bins on my mind. Earlier on I was fed up of them in the street with it raining and the recycling getting soaked so brought them near the front door - which is below where I'm sitting. Just now, I heard a strange noise and thought 'it's those neighbours again with my bin' - it was my foot rustling a piece of paper on the floor!! :rotfl:
  • Evening all, hope you're all well :)

I've got started on next year - got all my cards and wrap 70% off at Sainsburys and ordered my Dad's birthday present (8th March) - got him a complete Billy Connolly box set from Amazon for £21.47 (had a £2.50 off voucher to get it at this price). Next cheapest price is over £70 so I'm v happy :j

    Hi all

Saffstar that was an amazing bargain if they're normally £70.

Angela......ours always used to be weekly when it was just one bin.........since they brought in the recycling (one for paper, one for green waste) its once a fortnight, alternates between black bin(food) and the others. Best of it is........they stop collecting the green waste bin in November and don't start till Spring !

I've reserved an Auotglym Valet set to collect in store at Halfords for the web price of £40 from £86 incl carry case for my car cleaning mad brother either birthday present or Christmas present next year.

I think this year his Car Cleaning hamper came to around £30+ with lower branded products so I'm just weighing up whether to collect this one or not. If I get it it means all this hamper is bought, maybe some more sponges and cloths to go with it to make up to around another £10

It's definately worth £40 when I took off the cost of the clothes and 2 bottles of cleaning products came to this price alone
