    Hi all.

Mum2one - Decluttering doesnt even really come close in here. I seriously need a skip i think!! LOL.
Shall we go mse and have a virtual one!!
Had a productive day today. Worked a night shift last night and went shopping to Bluewater today. Not the greatest plan ive ever had, i must admit. Wasnt as bad as i thought though. Got a few nice bits in the Boots sale and paid with points. Even better in my book. 6 presents ticked off the list for the first couple of months of 2011.

Have been super organised on the 2011 Christmas front too (I'm scaring myself!!). Wrap and tags and cards brought. Got a few nice family cards in M&S for 50p each. Ive chucked out all the old bits ive had for ages so thats the first stage of the decluttering started!!

Trying to get the main bits done for the first half of the year. January is a Crazy month. Have 7 decent present birthdays to buy for and my DD. Not great. Sales help though!! My DH is 40 in march so that will be an expensive bit. Not really sure what he wants but want to make it special.

Tomorrow is a tidying day!! Kids rooms look like a bombs gone off!!

    Txx

Your going brilliantly, esp shopping after a nightshift, I'd be crawling into bed.
Bet DH has a long list ready for his bday, what date is it, my best mate she's 40 on 27th, I'm 40 on 31st, got neighbour 40, early march, his gf shes 30 in May.
My plan........ I want to go Prague, so mum said she'd pay a wack 2wards it, but also want to buy some necklace, taking Miss Hoodie to Dom Rep - want something to remember it.

Miss Hoodies room, and mine - just shut the door and said another day!! xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Hello every body!

I am shattered I have taken the sleeping tablets to help me fall asleep and try to stop sleep walking but they make me feel like a zombie and it still takes ages for me to drift off and I still wake up during the night ect.. eurrgh.

I then went and picked up darling Goddaughters 3years and the other one is 9months both gorgeous both my pride and joy. Took them for mcdonalds and shopping (havent seen them in 2 weeks they went Scotland for short holiday snow meant no travelling back so they missed Xmas so to speak) then took girls back to mine to play then , went to slimming world (1/2 lb off :)) then back to theres to open presents (they spoilt me) have a xmas dinner and pudding and then I sorted the girls and got them both to sleep , they are moving away soon (to Scotland) (in jan) and its breaking my heart as im used to seeing them all the time and I love them so much! anyway move on before the water works start.. got it at 1am but despite feeling physically tired my mind is working over time , so some room organizing on the cards before attempting to sleep again tonight! :)

Hope everyone is feeling better! Take care xx

Esmer Thank you for the lakeland code link I now have the few bits I wanted on order. It only came to £7 odd so would not be worth paying postage.

Anglea The box at the bottom of the page says I may not post attachments though I havent tried I must admit.

The attachments bit doesn't mean you can't post links. Mine says that but I can post links, etc.

  • Hi everybody, I am new to MSE and would really like to join in with this thread. It would be so great to be super organised and money neutral in 2011.

I have been sales shopping (mainly online) and focused on buying pressies for birthdays etc that we have coming up early in the year and also all the wrapping paper and cards for next christmas to put away.

So much to do today as have the family coming round for a bit of a buffet :)

    xx

    Good Morning everybody.

Welcome to the thread dragonlilly. its real nice place this and everybody is so helpful and friendly.

DD slept til 430am :) and she is on the mend, no fever last night. Im sure all of this stems from her back teeth breaking through. she has felt EVERY tooth and had these symptoms with all of them :( These are the last of them.

Hope you are all well, im hitting the shops today :) I will get my dressing gown and see if there is anything else that might suit birthdays and hampers for xmas.

Awww, so glad your DD is feeling better; back teeth are a nightmare. My daughter is little too and I hate it every time we go through the saga of another back tooth!

I'm not sure I'm organised enough to join this thread, but thought I would pop in to say... In case not everyone checks the discount codes and/or grabbits board...

Spend between £5 and £6 and your item is free. I ordered a dog fleece (ie something that won't go off!) and will put it away for Christmas 2011 if it's honoured.
