  • Little Introduction.

Married to my hubby for exactly one year tomorrow. :) No kids as yet but we do have one kittie.

Over the last year we moved to a new house, I paid off my student loan and I had a redundancy scare. I had to reapply for my own job but was lucky enough to keep it.

Aim is to have an affoardable but fab xmas in 2011.
  • Hi,

I have always cut up old christmas cards to make gift tags and I saw a post saying they cut up old birthday cards to make tags, a good idea, just never clicked with me before. x

    Hi Tinkers

What was that about birthday cards?

Someone posted about cutting up old birthday cards to make gift tags, which I do with christmas cards, just never thought to do it with birthday cards lol :)

    Morning all :)

Organisation on steroids over here - I have three gifts left to buy for 2011 :o

All three are my nephews, one birthday two Christmas and I have no clue what pre-teen boys like. I did buy them green lasers but apparently this is Very Dangerous for middle-sized boys with no notion of personal safety so those have gone back in the future-gifts box. I might consider a camera for the older one but I assume he already has all the stuff like that he needs. Still, there's no rush :rotfl:

  • The problem I have buying presents so far in advance (I do have 1 so far lol) is that children change their tastes so often and get presents bought by other people that upset my plans! How inconsiderate lol.

Glad your daughter is now getting better. Don't go shopping, you'll only come home even tireder. Sleep is good.

I've been to Lidl this morning to look at their stationery offer, and came home with a pack of A3 card (50 sheets 160g/m sq)and 2 pads of slightly bigger than A4 card (25 sheets 270g/m sq) Also got 200 envelopes, 6 document files and 2 bags of sugar. Total cost £13.01.

Now I think I need to sleep coz I was up late colouring.
