That's a good list Mrs M, a lot of them suitable for adults, I think we all need to sharpen our pencils and try out the pens a bit more often to avoid the 'no pen that works in an emergency' panic.

Reading about the wooden spoons reminded me of a post I just saw on the Christmas makes thread, a nativity scene made from spoons.

Rufus, I think selling those card packs seems like such a good idea. If lots of other people are doing it you could try selling them under slightly different names e.g. collaged cards rather than card kits or even as pictures if people were to put the cards into a frame ( I saw something like this on another thread).

Years back I had considered selling small packs which contained a selection of materials, ribbons and other bits and pieces suitable for dolls house modelling as I had trouble getting them for myself in small quantities. I never got round to doing it. Perhaps it could suit you.

    Hello all :j
With the help of my new washbasket on wheels I got all the washing on the line this morning:T Quite an achievement for little old me ............lol
Rains held off all day thank goodness.........cleaner took me shopping and I got some plants for the driveway on the way home...........so far, not a bad day. At the hospital tomorrow morning to see an Endocrologist (think I got that right).....:( Bit fed up with hospitals this year........still has to be done.

Mrs M - great list...........think I'll ''borrow'' some of those for my new year resolution box I want to do for son..........and maybe his girlfriend as well.:)

elysia - best wishes for your mum :)x

clare - hope OH got on ok with his exam:)

Angela..........no idea why buttons freak OH out.....they just do.......but he says hes ok long as he doesn't have to touch them though I do notice he gets all twitchy if I get them out...........lol

rufus - might be a good idea to sell cards in packs.......or turn some of them into notelets ?:)

Hope you're all ok and the suns shining:)

    Hi all

Mary you spoke too soon the sun was shining then we had a quick shower, then sun again. Well done on getting your washing out.

Elysia sorry to hear about your mum.

I had planned to get something for Dad today but an accidental meeting with someone outside the post office and a long chat meant I didn't have time afterwards. I don't have any more opportunities until Saturday so I'll have to do my usual buying at the last moment and wrapping the present in the library :(

mum2one - i`m gutted, sold 3 new bras last week and got peanuts, if i modelled them i would have got so much more. Good for her making some money

elysia - hope your mum ok

angela - I`ve made a couple of christmas cards, took all day as my crafty mojo is missing and seemed to spend all day staring into space and achieving not a lot lol:)

mary - good luck at the hospital. I know what you mean, i`m on my 3rd one this year. :o

Butterflly - i love that dress, mind you have seen two weddings lately, one in York and one in Stratford and people dont tend to dress up much...i wonder why, one of the weddings had the motb with a pair of trousers and a white blouse, which i found abit strange as the fotb had tails....am i missing something?

That's odd isn't it Susan. I went to a 'posh' wedding last year, and half the relatives hadn't dressed up and some were even in jeans.

Mums back home now. Thanks everyone. Knee replacement looks to have been a success at the moment - the surgeon has tried his upmost to prevent anything going wrong. Mum had one ten years ago (other knee) and she's had an infection in there since - it's worse now than before.

Mary - I hope you get on OK at the hospital today.

Butterfly - I love that dress, but I wouldn't even get my leg in. :D

    Mum2one - you been modelling again? ;)
