    Hi everyone

Was OH's last night of working last night so sleeping today then off for the weekend. Will be glad to get back to normal again. I hate it when he is on nights, feels like I am a prisoner downstairs as cant go up there or it wakes him up.

I am in the middle of making a label for the back of the denim quilt I finished. I put a pic of it on my blog. Thats all the nieces finished now for Christmas. Only presents left to get are my Dad, OH, YD and Son. I have plenty of Amazon vouchers which should do for OH and may be son as well. And if I cant think of what to get for Dad I can give him some of the vouchers by saying I will order what he wants and I will get it from my account so will keep trying to add more before then. Will just need to start getting bits in for YD to put away, her birthday is next month so get that out the way then gives me half a year to do it.

Brother's birthday party tomorrow so all organised for that. Glad OH is off and can come, hoping we will go up in the car as the walk does me in buy knowing OH he will want to walk up so he can have a drink there.

Rufus - you have a lovely time. :)

Bl*gger wouldn't let me comment on there the other day - I love love love the cushion for eldest daughter (with the flowers on). You should make some of those for your shop too (without the embroidery on the back). :)

    Hello all :j
All went ok at hospital (I think).......very nice lady doctor for a change. She's wants blood tests doing to see if there's any hormone problem thats causes this osteoporisis. If there is, then it can be treated but I'm left with the oseto-whatsit. Still, can't win 'em all. Went to have blood tests done at the hospital but there were so many people -I'd have still been there............so, I'll have it done at the surgery, doctor said I could if I wanted and least won't have to queue up for it. Back again in 3 months. I've gained weight which is good.......only 7lb but better than nothing and seems I'm an inch taller as well...............lol Physio exercises and spine stretching stuff must have paid off.........either that or it was posture...........lol:rotfl:
OH's new appt for his ''stomach chap'' came today.........its next Friday then the week after he sees the ''back chap''. I'm going with him for both these.............I'm sure I only get half a tale if he's on his own and he won't ask questions.......I will !:)

Still googling 'patterned walking sticks' and getting more mind boggled by the second. There's some lovely folding ones but not sure whether they'd be sturdy enough ...........are they likely to fold up under me ???? The folding ones are cheaper and I need two so if I could get away with them all well and good.

Blame me and OH for the rain.........we ordered a little sprinker thing to attach to the hosepipe to make watering the garden easier and it came today.
So did the downpour we've had................lol
(sorry :( to all who got wet)

    Hope you're all ok:)

Just found out my brother's dog died today, so put a bit of a downer on the party tomorrow. He is still having it, my nephew rung to tell me and said his Dad is putting a brave face on it but wanted everyone to know so they didnt walk in asking where the dog is etc. I think I will hold on to the photo album I did for him and give it to him in a week or so as there is a page for the dog in it and might be a bit too much so soon. I still have the cushion to give him.

Ordered a pair of those converse last night using my vouchers, were only £11.25 delivered so great price and she loves converse trainers things although she doesnt usually get the proper make as they so expensive so she will love a realy pair. A lot of them didnt have her size left so glad I got these ones last night.

    Hello all :j
Can't get my head round doing anything 'crafty' today but might get my paints out later.....I'll see what the weathers like. Been very wet and not too warm but suns trying really hard to show its face so who knows.
I did manage to frame a couple of four leaf clovers yesterday so they're going upstairs in the ''pressie'' room -looking a bit bare at the minute compared to last year.

candie gill -where was the free engraved pen ? Can't remember seeing that.

Hope you're all ok and you don't get too much rain:)

    Hi all

Mary I'm blaming you for buying a sprinkler LOL I changed about 4 times before I left the house because of the weather, one moment sun, next moment a waterfall.

Rufus I hope the party goes well today are you taking an alternative present than the album?

    Well what a day

spent all day thinking about making christmas cards and made these two cards instead

One for fathers day from the dog and one for my niece.

I have had a bit of a tidy round today and stamped up some christmas sentiments so everythings in place just got to do it now.

mary - the weathers a bit odd here as well, dont know whats happening, we`re half way through summer and its run off. I didnt see the pen either

candie - good bargain that , pens always handy

rufus - i thought they were a good price those trainers, glad you got some. I asked DS did he want some and he said they were mosher shoes....what the heck is a mosher???? Sorry to hear about your brothers dog, he must be very upset, i know i would be if anything happened to ours
